Great video. You definitely should have more subs. Can you share a link on the membrane you use in your orchard? I'm not clear if it is weed fabric or a specialized product. I have a small orchard (not productive yet as I'm new to it all and am still learning). Thanks again.

Love the videos - keep them coming. A lot of what you are doing I'm attempting to do as well - not with your success as yet! I'm interested in what you are doing with water permeable membranes - I just have a general aversion to plastic in the orchard. Is there something that the plastic is doing for you that alternate approaches (a thick crown of wood chip mulch for example) wouldn't do?

The membrane is resistant to weathering and lasts for many years unlike mulch. Also it protects young trees from grass roots and sheep nibbling. Finally it promotes useful bacteria around the roots which assist in nutrient transfer. Mulches can do all that but need topping up and can promote some pests to pupate in the soil eg Codling Moths.

Thanks for another very informative and digest-able video! I've only recently found your channel and am slowly working my way through, learning lots in the process. I wonder if you could suggest some further reading for when I'm away from a computer screen? You've already covered so much in the few videos I've seen, but drought tolerance, plant nutrition, treating disease and narrow canopy cropping systems are all areas I'd love to know more about.
