Jesus came to show us 'the Father.' What was 'the Father' to him? 'The Father within him' was a pure Love, perfect UNconditional APPROVAL. Not approval of our mistakes, our sins, our stinkin' thinkin', but an approval OF US as The Father's very offspring! And Jesus demonstrated this by administering healing to WHOM-EVER came to him. Even asking the man at the Pool of Bethesda, "Wouldst thou BE MADE WHOLE?". What a profound question for self-examination. He came to bring WHOLENESS to our brokenness, to our yearning. But we tend to fall back into that state of brokenness when we move away from 'following' Jesus, when we fail to lean on His healing, restoring Words and sacrificial Work of RESTORATION.
