Between 65-70°F, I’m pretty sure he used miracle-gro soil or seed starting soil.

Hey buddy, yeah I think you are right, I honestly forgot that I commented this 3 months ago :D However - I tried to grow a melon myself and got some pretty good results with a good quality potting mix. The temperature I used was between 70-85 degrees for germination and that worked out perfectly!

Melon as i planted grew 124 cm in 4months melon without fertilizer can grow fast as well
