I always buy pumpkins from a patch whenever it is fall season here in Michigan. And I usually place them all around the house to decorate. Surprisingly though, since they last so long without rotting, they last me until March! That's when I take them outside and just plop them on my yard for the squirrels to enjoy (they go absolutely bananas for them), fast forward a few months and Wham!! A huge vine monster growing on my yard and now I have tons of pumpkin flowers blooming everywhere on the yard like ornaments on a Christmas pine. The leaves are so huge, bigger than my hand just like you showed in the video. I put no effort at all into growing this plant, all I did was plop the rotting pumpkin a few months back and now I'm an accidental plant daddy I guess. I'm telling you this thing spreads across my yard a good foot every 3 days its actually insane. Hopefully It doesn't swallow my house! xD Great Video! This accident inspired me to grow my own food now, I just hope I get as much luck with everything else I plant haha. 🎃😆

hi can you help me it is ok to grow pumpkin with fertilizer I don't have any right now and is there any way to help build nutrients in the soil I'm using clay soil I will have to transplant them in two time

For fertilizer get any organic fertilizer you can find for vegetables, and in regards to your clay soil if it is super thick and dense and hard to dig in add some gypsum its super reasonable like $20 a bag for a 50 pound bag you need very little of it but that will help loosen the clay so that plants can grow better.
