A buddy of mine grew Tabasco’s. I bit off the end of one not thinking it was that hot. Oh boy was I wrong. The bite was so hot I immediately sucked in some air as a reflex, which only caused the pepper bit to fly back and stick to my upper soft palate. Then the heat really kicked in. There is difference between heat and pain. This was pain. I understand that in the pepper world this isn’t even nearly near the top of the Scoville scale but I never want that much heat in my mouth again.

😮- I agree. It has a good flavor, but the heat can sneak up on you and linger a bit. Thank you for watching and commenting.
