I used a half inch pvc pipe to bend the tips of the tomato cage to prevent it from making a hole in my grow bag and I was surprised how study it became. The tips after bending were not exactly the same length and I stuck it in after filing the pot up and I don't think it reached the bottom of the bag, but it was much more sturdy than sticking it in with straight tips. Also, for indeterminate tomatoes, its cheaper to buy two 3 inch thick by 8 feet wooden tree poles from Lowes and run a rope or wire across and hang those adjustable string things.

I am growing Roma tomatoes and Super Sweet 100 Hybrid. I am in Austin, Texas so I totally understand the weather issues you have encountered since you are in San Antonio. I did not think the rain would ever stop!

Omg someone who understands my weather issues 😆!! It just stopped rain maybe a week ago! Thats amazing, I grew Roma last year they were delicious! I wanted to try the super 100, so I’ll grow those next year! I’ve heard they are amazing! I’m trying the sweet million this year!
