This demonstrates how a tulip bulb was chilled in a pot and grown to flowering. Tulip bulbs required to be chilled for at least 12 weeks to germinate properly. For simulating it, we buried the bulb into a pot with moist soil and cover it with a paper bag. The bag was then placed in the fridge for 90 days. After that, The tulip pot was taken under a growing light. The bulb instantly shot up like a spike. A bud started blooming after over 20 days. The flower kept open and close for a few times before wilting at the end of its cycle.
