As someone from the northeastern region of India, bordering Burma/Myanmar, I have a strong interest in the internal affairs of Burma/Myanmar. The recent spring revolution has heightened my interest, particularly in regard to the Karen people and their struggle for independence, which has led me to become a devoted supporter of the Karen people's cause. Recently, I came across this song which I suppose related to the struggle of the Karen people and the freedom movement, and despite not understanding the lyrics, I find myself drawn to it and listen to it repeatedly. However, as an ardent supporter of the Karen people, I am eager to know the meaning of the lyrics, and would be grateful if someone could translate them for non-Karen speakers like myself around the world. I believe that through this song, people worldwide can develop sympathy and provide moral support to the Karen people in their struggle for independence.

I'm Karen living in Burma who is used to speaking the Burmese-mixed Karen language which has differences in accent and some vocabulary from the Karen in the eastern Myanmar and hill regions. So I can understand only about 50% of the lyrics. The rap part is the most difficult to understand, but I'm working on deciphering the words and translate it into English. There must be some other people doing it too. I'll surely let you know when I've finalized the translation.

A lot of people are uneducated, poor and in debt. Besides they gamble a lot and can't get rid of all those bad habits. He mentioned the terrible things that Karen people are facing in political, economic, social affairs. At the end, he asks the listeners to have mercy on Karen people.
