This episode was not long enough I laugh till I weak, I wanted to watch the first five minutes and ended up watching the whole thing. Born in the UK where I was raised by my granny and the 'yuh nuh pick up a book from marnin' gave me PTSD...lol. I will be in Jamaica next month can't wait, might not have been born there, but I can relate to the childhood experiences and Jamaican sayings. Juliemango, love your videos, my friends and I are always sharing your videos with each other. First time to the channel, I have subscribed and look forward to watching the content. Yes. I imagine it is. Having lived in 3 different parishes ( St Mary, St Elizabeth, and Manchester - Surrey, Cornwall and Middlesex respectively),I can attest that there are not only regional variations in words, and accents in the dialect but also in accents.

Keep in mind Patois and its many versions is spoken differently throughout the 14 Parishes in JA. Some at home and abroad can understand it, but are unable to read, write or speak it. There was a time long ago when Patois was not celebrated or encouraged!
