Naughty Dog has a long History of making amazing games. Before they were known for The Last of Us Series, they created amazing franchises such as Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, and Uncharted. And all these games came to me at the times in my life that I needed them most. There are many ways that this amazing studio has helped shape my life and for that I will always love them.

Although I was only nine years old in 2003 when Jack two came out, I never forget when I got it for Christmas. Not playing Jack one yet, but having Jack two as my first jack game. I remember playing it for hours and years. And years, honestly, didn't even play Jack one until maybe two years later, when I was 11. But I can't lie, though naughty dog games have been my childhood. I'm hearing Jack cuss for the first time in Jack two. It was like mind blowing.

My introduction into hardcore gaming was with uncharted golden abyss. My dad bought it when he was on a trip and I loved that game to bits. Even the box art for that game is legendary. My stupid ass thought that golden abyss was the first uncharted game and without playing the actual first one (I eventually played it, it was decent). I played 2. And ofcourse I loved that game so much. And then 3 then 4 came out. They became my favourite series. Then I played the last of us. Avoided the game because I thought it was too scary but a few year later played it on the ps4. It was much more subtle. More intimate. Less set pieces. But I loved it all the same. Then tlou2 came out. I avoided and hated the game for some time. Then suddenly I had the urge to play the game. I bought it and now it is my favourite game of all time. Naughty are the best in the business with no misses and there's a reason why they have been in the game for so long

lets fucking gooo, factions was amazing. For a sec I thought that was my gameplay lol, I loved snipe headshoting and if I hit the body, then I would quickly switch to pistol to 1 shot. It was the best multiplayer experience I've ever had.

I remember when i had 4 years old, I played my second videogame ever (Jak3). When i had 11 y i decided to play the Jak saga, so i bought Jak1 and 2. When i had 13y I get for confirmation PS4 Pro with a few games (crash nsane trilogy+Crash Team Racing, God of War(2018) and Jump Force. A few weeks later, at black friday I bought the whole Jak and Uncharted saga. At 15y i bought the PSPLUS PREMIUM subscription, so i decided to play a lot of sagas what i wanted to play (Sly, Ratchet, inFAMOUS, The Last of Us, Assassin's Creed, God of War...) Now i have 16 years old and i am trying to get the platimum in these games.

My first game (which isn’t by naughty dog but the franchise was created by naughty dog) was Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. I know I’m a little late to the party and I’m glad I was. It was so fun playing Crash Bandicoot and during my months of living in a new place I found out about Uncharted and literally fell in love with the game. I loved Uncharted 2 because the story was just so amazing. Im now realizing Jak and Daxter and I feel so dumb for that since I should’ve known about it earlier because wtf it’s so much fun. The Last of Us is a game I haven’t fully played yet since I got it for free when using a free trial of ps plus and I really loved it even though I didn’t even finish the 2nd chapter I think it’s called. Overall Naughty Dog helped me as a person and I’m glad it did because I’m into game development now. As well as my first game I don’t know it exactly since I used to own an Xbox 360 my brother gave me before getting a ps4. But if I remember clearly it was a fighting game

Hry man i know how heart broken you must be to hear they are not making the last of us online game but think about they will be abke to continue making single player games and i think we all know thats probably best, especially when we can get a Jak 4 , Uncharted 5, or a new ip, which im sure will be good becuase they will want to win back to true of everyone they lost with how the story of the last of us 2 ended honestly the last of us 2 decided the fan base with that story they will make sure whatever they make next will be captivating

I can't remember my very first game I don't think, but I can remember the first few games I've played for more than one sitting. My earliest remembered gaming experiences were on the PC playing Quake than Diablo at like age 5~. Sneaking to play my dad's games. Yes I did have to go to the bathroom every 10 minutes and yes I did have nightmares when I went to bed but these first big games did influence my tastes to this day. Dark, Moody, gothic, horror themes/art direction are for sure because of these formative games. Certainly gave me an appreciation for the post-apoc genre down the line which led me to TLoU and ultimately to here. Although it's taking a while, factions online is shaping up to be so much more than just "factions 2", which excites the heck out of me. I'll never hold grudge over developers when they try something big, sure it might fail, but that's life. I'll only be slightly bummed out if something fails so spectacularly that it kills the IP/studio. Those are always hard days for fans. My heart goes out to any fan of a franchise that's been dormant for 10+ years awaiting any sort of revival, you guys are real.

My parents got me a ps3 around the time the ps4 came out. The console was bundled with the last of us which at that point terrified me because I was way too little to appreciate it. Years later, around the pandemic, I got interested in my dusty ps3 again and I played the last of us. That one game, 7 years after it had come out, was so impressive to me that it made me want to go back to that console and explore. Little by little I started collecting games and playing them. I definitely wouldn’t have been so eager to go back to gaming if it hadn’t been for that game. Now I’ve platinumed all uncharted games and thinking of going back to the jak trilogy. The last of us remains the best game I’ve ever played. The gameplay, the emotion in the story, it all holds up as if it’s a brand new game. My only regret is that I went to these games too late and couldn’t explore the online multiplayer aspect of the games.

@@DrPooplove well my case is kinda funny, I’m playing tlou on a ps3 where the servers are down, the Nathan drake collection which excluded multiplayer and now the legacy of thieves collection which also excludes multiplayer. Maybe I should pick up a regular uncharted 4, just to experience the multiplayer.

I don't mean to drop my first comment with a bunch of depressing non-sense but having a somewhat rough childhood, games were the only thing that kept it real for me and gave me something to look forward to. Still kinda the same situation now but as I look back, my fondest memories with my dad were playing the OG crash bandicoot and jak and daxter. Little did I know that my dad was escaping from reality just as I was and he did all he could to afford us a PS1 but I think we're both better off for it. Games can be life changing and I cherish those memories very much.

Like I said on another of your videos. You gotta drop that video essay voice. Humans...DO NOT...talk...like...THIS. You're holding yourself back imo. You sound bored and therefore your videos come off as boring. I don't hear any passion from you. If you listen to someone like RobinGaming talk about Naughty Dog, you can hear his passion and enthusiasm for their games. Whenever people use this voice, I can only assume they are trying to stretch the length of their videos in an artificial way.
