The cartoons sometimes could do with a translation. It's not always clear. These programmes are useful, but they could do with a lot more thought.

dabrodrell This is Lesson 50. Once you've watched Lesson 1-49 (like I did) you should be able to search up words by their pinyin by yourself ;) Feel free to ask me if you still have questions

Ewout Lagendijk Thanks, but I've translated every sentence in the one hundred episodes. My point is that they should have paid more attention to aligning the cartoons with the content of the relevant episode. I appreciate they cannot cover all grammatical issues within the timeframe available. However,It's no good introducing many idiomatic expressions & complex syntax without sufficient explanation.It just deflates the student trying to learn Mandarin. This is meant to be a course looking at grasping the basics of the language.It took them until episode 65 before giving any meaningful time to the question of word order.
