Happy days, as a young telegraphist did what a lot of guys did and signed on to do extra time on top of the 18 month tour; Must make the effort to get back and have a look around the islands. Thank you Unst for being a part of my life.

I remember caa'in (calling) the sheep when living in Unst in 1978. They put them in a sheep dip and then shear them. Also, I skipped school that day! The sheepdogs were really smart as well.
