Four months ago I didn't know who you were, what facts was. I didn't know about sharuf or leather jack guy or anything. I have. A busted knee and had a lot of down time. That's when I first found all these amazing videos. I don't know if you know anything about Atlantic Canada but we are a hardy group of people that the rest of Canada forgets about. We are fishermen and farmers and lumberjacks. It's truly a beautiful part of the country. It reminds me of Ireland. A lot of Gaels from Scotland and Ireland made their home here. There is a Gaelic college here and everything. Watching all these videos, there is I something very familiar and something very exotic at the same time. I feel very lucky that I have found all of your videos. I've gotten a lot of ideas for my you tube shows. I watch at least an hour a day if not more of Irish web shows. Much more entertaining and real than anything I can see on tv. It's the realness of it that I love. You are able to capture real people, telling real stories and that's a special thing. I don't care about movie stars. There's nothing rest about them or Hollywood. This episode was great. John is all over the you tube thingy so it's always fun hearing more from him. I'll continue to like and share in the future! Sorry this is. A bit long winded. Sometimes I ramble lol

Bwahahahahaha! I LOVE the sibling stories! I'm the 3rd of 5 (yes five) girls, and my older sister made my life HELL growing up! Lots of scars and my first "tatoo" (where she stabbed me with a pencil) are courtesy of her. There was too much of an age gap for me to take it out on my younger sisters...

@Clare , I have a scar on my forehead from my brother. I was chasing him up the beach and the next thing I know I woke up on the beach. I look up and he was running away at full clip. There was blood, I remember. I have memory gaps around that time.

It's required for at least one sibling to get a scar. I, for example, almost cut my younger sister's thumb off. Complete accident. I was cutting up some sugar beets for our pigs, and my sister tried to get a piece from under where I was chopping them. Fortunately, though it's a long scar, it's almost invisible, and missed any serious nerves and such. I had a co-worker who got almost an identical cut, and she severed a nerve, so her thumb is numb... Kids are crazy. I have friends whose youngest 2 sons regularly wrestled like puppies. The older one was on their roof by the time he was 4, just climbed up. And wandered off when he was 3, completely disappeared for 2 hours. At 4, also, wandered away from Sunday school and was found almost at the river a few blocks away from the church.
