Yes you can, as longs you take very good care of them. moisturize them every other day & KEEP your hands out of your head. let them do what their supposed to do. (Grow & Mature) I have thin hair as well, also be sure to keep your hair clean, clean hair locks up faster than dirty hair.

i just love u and praise u for educating the community on the process of growing locs i just started my locs on jan 12, 2013 the lady who stared my locs told me that i need to wait at least 6 to 8 weeks before my first wash is this true i really need to know

6-8 Weeks is too long, that's false. I would say two weeks is good enough time to wait to have your first wash.

Hello Damian.... I had palmed roled locks and my scalp continued to flak even more after getting them... I do work out on a regular and sweat heavy as I'm on a new lifestyle of healthy living...I drink 9 cups of water daily and continue to flake like cradel cap...what can I do to stop this..after watching your video where you mentioned that interlocking is better for the people that are heavy sweaters and work out ofeten so I combed out my rolled locks and re did interlocking sister locks...

Wash when you want, I started mine in 2009. I waited two weeks I washed, retwisted lightly and kept it going. Clean hair locks faster. Keep your scalp clean.
