Speaking of low maintenance gardening. I sat at Lowes today which is probably like your Bunnings(sp) for hours. Didn't by anything but I pulled dead leaves off so many succulents. I heard the worker , as I was tucked behind a shelf, griping about having to clean the leaves up. I wanted to say, " you know what.. that's why your plants rot and get mealy bugs. I actually did you a favor" ! I didnt though, chose to stay the anonymous detidrus remover for now!!🤣 Its just so satisfying for me to pull off dried leaves, and also to find hidden little babies growing. I can let succulents consume me. So I'm only buying what I don't have right now and maybe some special rare ones if I find them.

Thanks Emy. This is my theory with the Ice cream and coffee. When outside temperature is hot, drink hot coffee to cool down. When outside temperature is cold, you have to bring your core temperature down to acclimatize and get use to the cold by eating ice cream(just like succulents). Plus ice cream melts quickly in summer so it's best eaten in a bowl so you don't make a mess.....LOL

It’s very very cold here in Vancouver right now like 1 degree C some nights are below 0. I’m hoping that my succulents are going to be ok outside my balcony I don’t have that many though but still 💚💜💖

You can bring them inside at night just to be safe and take it outside again the next day or when it's a little bit warm during the day to soak up some sunlight. This is also another form of acclimatization.
