Thanks John, this was a great video. One day I'll get out of this apartment and into a house, and I plan to garden like crazy! :) I might even rival you :) hehe btw, I'm plant-based-diet. high greens, high fats, low carbs, sugars, and obviously no meats/dairy.

Hey John have you done any videos on your “cloner “?? I would love to be able to take cuttings and clone my plants that have done well this year and place them indoors in my Greenhouse and my sunroom for the winter. How have your cuttings in your “cloner” done? Is it worth it?

I watch John not only for the motivation to tend to my garden but for the comic relief. This guy is funny. Sure his sense of humor is usually about relationships but I gotta give it to him, he made me laugh. Now back to gardening.

I grow Kaffir lime trees, hot peppers and Kemangi for my Indonesian wife, for her spicy Indonesian food. She told me that the leaves she uses from the Kaffir lime tree sell for as much as $30.00 per ounce. But I live in Philadelphia and have to get it back inside the house before winter so it doesn't die during the first frost.

Thank you John. Your information is great. I appreciate the shorter videos as well... I'm thoroughly interested in the shiso. I've never heard of it before. Do you have a specific variety to recommend and or stay away from? I have been specifically adding greens to our garden. Radishes are fantastic! Not a fan of rocket😝 this year added Perpetual spinach, brussel sprouts, and minutina. We eat all are leaves on our garden if edible. Seriously love sweet potatoes for that reason 😋 I am a fan of Wandering Jew, and its derivatives. I absolutely love the green and silver on top and the purple underneath. I'm not a fan of Basil however I have loads of cinnamon basil. The flavor is not as strong which I appreciate. As well as the Purple colors are lovely. The shiso looks like a plant that I would absolutely love for the looks alone let alone the nutritional value. It's taken me years but I've even got my husband eating the greens now. And happy about it to boot😉 Dandelions and wild lettuce now even in our salad. Not to mention the wood sorrel, purslane, and moringa oleifera. I made a radish soup the other night. It was so delicious. I'm a Cali transplant. Now in North East Texas Zone 8A. Originally from LA and I don't mean Louisiana😉 Sorry about the "on and on". Thank you for all your info.

You asked for a thumbs up for a shorter format. That's why you got it, because I like then short. I like your content I just would like them to be much shorter. I would even consider this one to long, but hey that's just me. I can't speek for everyone. Shoot for 15 min. That's about my attention span. Unless it is really earth shaking. Greening the Desert is an example of one you don't limit. The time it takes is what it takes. I would have taken even longer, myself. Good job keep it up.

Thanks so much for the practical information, I really appreciate it, however what happened to the garden? You are always on top of it....was it the heat? The storms and cold weather in NY ruined my tomatoes and other vegetables...getting ready to winterize my Hugelkulter raised beds for next spring! All the best to you!
