Yep I found out early on you can build some tlo soil for at LEAST $100 or just get some good potting soil like g&b for 5 to 7 bucks. I started out with g&b but now I’m rocking the tlo

I use cardboard as a carbon source and kitchen waste as a nitrogen source...it’s cool how the guy you interviewed described the roots going straight down thru the layers rather than binding in a circle🤙

guys i'm sorry to ask your help but my english listening really sucks !! i got problem understanding tip 4 and tip 5. Can someone be so gentle to summarise it ?

#4 - If you grow plants in the same garden beds over and over, the plants will suck nutrients out of the soil each growing season. So over time, your soil becomes less and less "powerful" as far as the nutrients it contains. So you need to "feed" the soil to make it more "powerful" again. And all he's talking about is adding a layer of composting materials: 3 inches dry stuff like straw, brown dead leaves, shredded paper, newspaper, cardboard; 1 inch manure; some green material chopped up; and soil. Then water it. As the water filters down, nutrients filter down. He calls it "sheet compost" or "God's blanket" or "blanket composting." See this man's blogspot: newwaystofeedtheworld.blogspot.com/2012/ #5 - Increasing the carbon content of your soil. He digs down and puts down a layer of compost, then a layer of dry sticks, then a layer of compost, then a layer of dry dead leaves, then a layer of compost. It's all about the layers, ok? As the sticks and leaves rot, they release carbon and the plants really thrive on it.

Africa is a continent. There are developed and undevloped places just like in North America. Please do not generalize the entire continent as an undeveloped place.

Please don’t characterize all of Africa with blanket statements of impoverishment. It’s a diverse continent of 52 sovereign nations. There is opulence, cities and skyscrapers as well as slums. We wouldn’t characterize all of USA & Canada by the conditions we see in Flint Michigan or rural Alabama.
