Hey guys this Video is only for the RWS mode of the Hornet, We don't have TWS at this point due to the whole Early Access thing, Once that becomes available I'll make a Video for that too.
@karlchilders54206 жыл бұрын
It's "bar" not "box". 6B is a 6 bar scan, from each slice, in order, decreasing elevation as you go. VsubC, Vc, is' velocity - closure or just "closure rate". Combined with that aspect angle, you can see if it is to, or from you, in a moment's glance. on the HUD symbology. I'm a former Hornet Driver btw.

@@karlchilders5420 Karl Do you believe that Mig 21 can shot down f 16? (I am from india and may be you know why i'm asking!)☺️
@karlchilders54205 жыл бұрын
@@mayurchauhan1 I don't care if you're from Mars, the aircraft isn't what does the shooting down, otherwise, we'd never need to train pilots. You put a well-trained pilot against a pilot that isn't as well trained, and don't put ROE on either pilot that inhibits them from defending themselves, and more often than not that better pilot is going to shock that other guy despite numerous technological advantages. I don't know that this is what happened in the case we're talking about, but I do know that Richthofen said this over 100yrs ago, and he was right: It's the man, not the crate. You train the man, you maintain the aircraft.

@@alphapicturesentertainment F-16. Better jet, all the way around. Sustain 9G, better cornering airspeed, carries more weapons that are also newer and better, better weapons system and ECM/ECCM gear, etc. If you put a fool in one though, a J-3 cub can shoot one down.

@@GrowlingSidewinder Not sure you can help me with a couple of questions regarding the F18. One is, why is it the top speed is only around 800 knots? No matter what altitude I fly at with a clean loadout I can't seem to get it above that. Second, is there a way to land at airfields that do not have a TACAN station by tuning into a radio beacon? I see all kinds of airfields on the caucus map with no tacan.

Thanks, mate, your videos are way more than just "useful" for people just starting out in DCS. Now to find a proper tutorial for the navigation system as it's much more complex than the one on the free Frogfoot and I'm a bit lost.
