I only found your channel a few months ago. I actually had no idea people were having battles this intense/realistic, (save classified), and incredible looking. I grew up in computers, playing Jane's Fighter Anthology. Maybe I'm dating myself- and, while it was nothing like this- especially with "TACView"? (I would have so loved to have that option, that in-depth)- The graphics, live players et al? I LOVED playing that game. I learned a helluva lot, thanks to Jane's. I am not an expert, and nobody commenting here could be, if we are comparing classified stuff, but anecdotally, I have lived and worked in a former Soviet republic for the last 5 years. In my experience, the Russians/CIS/former soviet nations are miraculous in making things "work" in adverse conditions, for example, keeping a city heated and moving at -25c. It's basic, but it works. (As in the usual Russian stereotype). But they do innovate in cyber-attacks and industrial espionage. Most of the cutting-edge technology involved in the SU-57 will have been copied. I doubt an SU-57 would stand up to an F22, F35 or even a Typhoon 1:1 on an average (factoring in pilot training and general combat infrastructure such as AWACS). But ultimately, it depends on if you think 1x$150 million F-35 with $350 Billion development costs is "better" than a copycat SU-57.

For people whose video GS linked couldn’t load, I’ll help here. BFM is Basic Fighter Maneuverability (or something along that line). It’s the maneuvers you use to get behind your opponent. If you want to know what these maneuvers are, the Air Combat Tutorial Library has good examples of these. Fox 1 (American AIM-7 and Russian R-27 for example) are radar guided missiles that needs a connection from the firing fighter jet to score a kill. Fox 2 (American AIM-9 and Russian R-73 for example) are heat seeking missiles. Once fired, the missiles will track a heat source (F-16 full afterburner with no flares for example). Fox 3 (American AIM-120 and Russian R-77) are radar guided missiles that do not need a connection from the firing fighter jet to score a kill, hence the term, Fire and Forget.

su-33 is not really a good airplane. It's a navy version of su-27 and thus it is heavier. You should try su-35 v su-57 - that would be a much more equal fight.
