I kind of sympathize. I remember thinking this game was cheap and getting frustrated with those tactics, though I also relied on them when I was a one-trick pony. Now, I’m good. And, I know that while this game has a very steep learning curve, it’s balanced as hell. If you get fucked up, it’s because you fucked up. There’s always a way to come out better in an exchange, and if you lose an exchange it is always that you either didn’t identify it in time or failed to execute well. Losing at FNC is ALWAYS on the loser.

And also when people just cheat. Remember APEX Predator? I almost got him once. I had a really cool style with my CAB too. I really liked fighting with him. Sucks we just don’t use them anymore. I took him the other day with Castillo (my favorite fighter) and it was only a 4 point overmatch so it shouldn’t have been an issue, but my CAB was surprisingly challenging. I built him well. Wish I could still use him.

I don't understand how folks can complain about the jab when that's how you start/set up combinations. In this game, trying to combo off of something other than the jab will have your punches animate slower and be easier to counter. Start with a jab and then follow up and then combinations come faster and crisper.
