I'm going to miss the OGs. Especially Vivek, as I laughed so hard when him, Aaron and Doug were together. Other than that, I think I'll be okay still watching season 5. Looking forward to see Zoey and Junior drive each other crazy lol!

Was the season supposed to be this short? I legit don’t understand the point of Phil even mentioning a lawyer etc just to decide to go, it’s like sure, it could happen - but I also feel like the whole season was just rushed . We didn’t even get to see Zoey’s reaction to Aaron coming home . Idk I hate that this is the end and that’s how they ended it bc nothing is resolved . Doug and Jazz should have had an opportunity to try out again, I wouldn’t be surprised if she guest stars and is not with Des anymore . Shame we couldn’t see Vivek and Anna’s road trip - or even a glimpse into any characters future besides Zoey walking down the street 😭😭. With that said I’ll be watching next season because I do love junior but I feel grownish is grasping at straws - hence that out of nowhere breakup between junior and Olivia on blackish .

This show already wasn't good but now that the original cast is leaving, it's going to hit a new low. I mean this show has followed the same 6-8 characters for the last 5 years and most of them leaving almost certainly means the show has lost its identity. I'm willing to bet that the next season will just feel like a desperate attempt by the producers to try and hold onto their audience, an audience that has been shrinking every season. In those past seasons, Grown-ish had increasingly written shocking and unrealistic plot points as they tried to keep viewers hooked and I'll bet season 5 will have the most shocking and unrealistic plot points yet. It's just not going to work. The entire Black-ish universe is on it's way out. The OG show that started it all is ending this year, Mixed-ish was cancelled, and Grown-ish's main story is finished. This 5th season will only evoke feelings of overstaying its welcome for a show that already felt like it lost itself after the first season. Good shows often go on longer than they should and become mired by an overstayed welcome, just imagine how bad a terrible show like Grownish is going to feel when they drag it out even more!

@@sherinebenjamin4598 Well for one thing, you're wrong about Grown-ish being the most watched show on Freeform. It's not, Cruel Summer currently is. For another thing, you clearly misunderstood my entire argument because I was saying how the quality of the show is going to go downhill now that the core cast is gone and the writing is therefore going to get increasingly desperate. I did say that viewership is going to decline (which is has been for the last 5 years) but I never even said the show had bad ratings, just that they were getting worse (which they are). So yeah, how exactly is my argument invalid when you didn't even understand my point and also when your rebuttal is both irrelevant and factually incorrect?
