People don't give Adam Sandler movies enough credit. They have heart, some of them have deep story, like Click, and they're a BLAST to watch. Some critics just don't understand that movies don't have to be some incredible well written masterpieces that change the face of cinema. It defeats the purpose of movies.

This is such a good movie for real. The very first time that I saw this movie Grown Ups was when it came out on DVD. I was such a funny movie for real and I really like Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Salma Hayek. And I really like you two reactions to this movie because you both are a lot of fun and you keep me on my toes and there are no dull moments with you and you bring a lot of fun and a lot of life to ya’ll reactions.

Rob Hilliard's (Rob Schneider) older wife is Joyce Van Patten. Joyce's older brother was Dick Van Patten who died in 2015 at the age of 86. Both Joyce and her late brother, Dick had long career in show biz. When the guys play arrow roulette reminds me of my crazy childhood because kids at my time in the 70's were playing lawn darts (now lawn darts are banned). Lawn Darts were made out of metal with plastic fins. I am surprised that kids at the 70's survived those days.

Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock , Rob schiender, David soade and Colin Quimn(who okayed Sanders basketball rival rocket in this film) all came up through the NYC comedy clubs in the late 80s and early 90s. Quinn. Is a little bit older than the others . Quinn and Sandler where first in a game show on MTV called Remote Control. Quinn, Sandler, Schiender and Spade where also on SNL at the same time with Rock having a brief stint o. the show with them.

11:25 he did say that they “had” to go. Like she was forcing them to go. He also said they had to skip the daughter’s school play to go to Milan like her show was more important than something the daughter worked on and only happens once. 16:35 I like how she was so busy she screwed up and almost ruined the tooth fairy for her daughter and that was the start of her realizing that she was putting her job ahead of family. 18:04 this guy passed away recently (1/13/24).

Well, it makes more sense why Lenny wanted his family to get away from that Los Angeles life and have more quality time together as a family. Considering how spoiled rotten their children are I agree with Lenny they NEEDED to get the hell out of L.A.

This movie is another one of my favorite summer watches. It's just a funny and feel-good movie to watch for that time of year. You two nailed it about how the humor mainly consists of just a bunch of friends busting each other's balls. That's exactly what guys do lol. It's just very organic. The dynamic with the women was also pretty funny. I especially like that the movie was filmed and set in New England. Summer can be quite nice here when it actually feels like summer.
