I'm a 59 year old woman who has survived cancer, molestation, rape and many hardships. I heard a lot of people speak but never heard a story so close to mine. When I heard les Brown I was blown away by the label put on him as a youth. I always thought I was stupid and heard it almost everyday of my life. After surviving cancer I asked God to make me whole mentally and open new doors. He led me to hear this man. I'm in a communication class and we had to choose a speech I chose this one. I'm not going to be old and tired. I'm ready to live and be different and thrive! Thank God for les brown. He ranks with TD Jakes my favorite of all time.!!!

I'm coming out from a 40 years marriage. my husband step out with another woman. it's hard to let go. I still love him, my heart is very heavy. we are still married. this just happen 3 months ago. my therapist told me that men go through midlife crisis. between the ages 40-65. I'll be 56 this year. (8/16/2021) I have never heard of Les Brown until yesterday as I was looking for a morning motivation to listen to. I am 56 years old, survived breast cancer at a young age and a single mother of a very young daughter at the time. I also have 2 different pre-existing conditions that has come up in the last 7 years. It's been a tough road for me health wise, but am thankful and grateful to God I am still here. I am also very guarded and hard to get to know. I need to break myself from this to change the narrative of my life, to be more confident, self-assured, and more open. I listened to two of Les Brown's morning motivations yesterday which lead me to continue listening to him everyday. He is the push I need, along with my therapy sessions.

Now there's nothing wrong with entertainment at all, but have to be careful with the intake of certain things.
