Growrilla Hydroponics RDWC and Spider Farmer SF-1000 Final Setup and Test

We are so close to transfering our seedlings in now! Systems test and water level reached. Spider Farmer SF-1000 hanging and ready to go. Next is water management, and transfer.

Excuse me if you already answered this, why does this RDWC system have the reservoir in the middle? Makes it difficult to access and you are wasting your light space. Thanks for the video.

Hello. It's just a footprint thing. It is possible to get it as small as 80x80 cm, so lots more tent options. Having run it for a while now however, I can see your point. Our plants actually didn't make it (video soon), but had they i can see access being tricky in later stages of growth for sure. Thanks for your comment.

Have considered painting that corner white, although now we are mid grow and full of water access will be tricky. Good call though, it would help with the light for sure!

Can’t wait to see it all running, very undecided up on which rdwc system to go. What motivated you to go for Growrilla?

Hej Roley, yeah it's been a fun process setting it all up. We wanted something from Europe, and got hold of a DWC pot, and a 2.1 RDWC from Growrilla, and could not fault it for the price point. Super solid, and no tools/experience needed to plug it all in. We've had word from Growrilla recently, and they have refreshed their systems with larger pipes, and higher quality fittings etc. They will have them ready in March apparently, and we should have them too! Keep an eye out. We'll make some vids on the updated versions.

Funny you should mention leaks. We have just had one! It was entirely my fault though. Highlighted the importance of testing when there is water involved indoors! Video scheduled for later today.

The Spider Farmer SF-1000 is going strong. Great little panel. The box lights in the room are video lights only.

Just do separate buckets so you can change the water every week with ph perfect micro grow and Bloom a little more work but worth it

By the way that's way too expensive when you can do them in separate buckets with one pump and some air stones

I think the Growrilla Hydroponics systems are extremely well priced for the quality, and whats included. Perhaps a DIY DWC bucket and pump solution will run a little cheaper?
