It's probably too many in there but my levels stay ok with my filtration. I added 7 more chromis when I got this tank because they are cheap but actually quite like the school of them

what is your tank height and light distamce to water surface?

The tank is 2ft X 2ft X 5ft and lights are around 10 or 11 inches off the surface
