All trend following system follows Pareto principle where your 80% of over all profits will come from less than 20% of the trades which means, when markets stuck in range bound move all trend following systems goes through drawdown phase, that's when beginners tend to think strategy stopped working and move from one system to another looking for no loss system, this cycle never accepts until they understand the reality of markets.

Keep up trailing SL if position in profits as long as it moves favorably for you. Then only you can capture the trend for great extent. If it moves unfavorably ( against your views) then obviously SL hits. My opinion don't fix timeframes. Unless you are small, midcap hence Lower circuits and upper circuits are an issue. Please do your own research and consult with experts/advisors before applying the ideas shared. Thank you
