​@@vladgabrielmatei9128EA is known to create a new game before saving a game lol, happened before, and well with devs leaving is more than obvious the direction the game is taking, now that devs left they need to fix their devs line up, create new content and work towards issues, EA will prefer to let the game die before making a new game, it happened with NFS series, it iwill happen with apex, they milk players and make a new game easy as that, with FIFA they prefered to reduce the graphics and animation budget before fixing the servers, with NFS they prefered to make a new game before fixing the servers, even they prefered to close the game before fix the servers, in Apex they will prefer to milk and close the game before fix the problems, NFS Pro street never got a fix in their physics, community made those fixes, other NFS after pro street had similar issues and never fixed them, community fixed those things, apex will end up like that and they will prefer to milk you before fixing the game

Wait, what? This guy was basically pure happiness in physical form! He doesn't even have a solid plan on where he's going, so I'm not one to try and assume, but the only reason you'd move without a direction is because the place you were at wasn't good. If the state of the game is one that caused even one of the brightest people who always sees the good side of thingies to leave, one can only imagine how terribly dark the future outlook must be for the game.

I also met this friend group around season 9 and also still play with them and one of them, I consider an older brother. Luckily, they don’t play apex anymore either so we usually play different games like Fortnite, rival, siege, MC, Elden ring, or we just talk

1400 hours and left in december 26th, not gonna say is bad but it stop being funny in season 21 for me, i met a lot of people and had a lot of fun, i left because soft aim botters in asiam servers are out of control, and cheaters in europe are showing more often, literally european servers and asian servers are like day and night, in europe are fast pace and strong players, in asia is completely you peak and die, people cheat a lot in asian servers and in last season i played they were cheating since silver, smurfs and cheaters are insane, i dont regret leaving apex and i will consider coming back once their numbers increase to 180k players

For all the grief that live service games get, core Apex is proof that live service _can_ be good. I really hope the people at Gravity Well, Wildlight, etc will rekindle that and make it an enjoyable experience. We need _good_ competitive games in addition to _good_ single player or self-hosted multiplayer games. Battle Royale is a great genre, but live service has gotten a bad reputation because of the chosen monetization and corporate greed, _not_ because the game mechanics are bad.

i don’t think many people realize that it’s extremely rare nowadays for game devs to stick at a studio for nearly as long as he did, 9 years is a long time to be at one place. i don’t think that this means apex is dead, but if apex doesnt get better this year then that will be the end of apex so it’s time to see how respawn handles this year

Moy Parra did a LOT of great work for Titanfall and Apex Legends. To say he's just "oh one of those developers that comes and goes after a certain amount of years" is an understatement. He did more with toon craft back then to the point where it was the closest we've ever got to see just an official animation about our favorite legends other than the in game of what we're used to seeing everyday. Animations & stickers, this guy made it known about the passion behind his work at Respawn and to leave is probably the better choice for him despite what fans wanted. Like many said he was one of the most actively positive about the game. Very sad to see him go, reminds me of my co worker who makes work bearable. All of a sudden puts in his resignation. If anything the decline of Apex has fastened even further. Meanwhile EA is probably looking to sell Apex Legends/Titanfall...

Wow, Respawn is really having an end of an era moment. So many great devs are leaving and rightfully so. I’ve loved Moy’s work since TF2. Well between Diesel Knights (an indie Titanfall - Diesel Punk game) and Wildlight being founded by former Respawn Devs, I’m hopeful that the spirit of Titanfall and Respawn’s quality and passion lives on.

Apex lasting this long as a battle royale is honestly astonishing! Its been through a lot more than Fortnite and has somehow kept up as one of the top games in the last 5 years! I started in season 3 and ive made friends along the way expecially in season 4,5 and 6 where i made the most friends. Apex was not released with huge hype, the devs who are now gone from the studio were like "hey guys we have just made this game and was wondering if you want to try it" and boom, Apex shot up so fast it became popular quickly. Its sad how a game i really loved is now slowly going away but lets see how this year turns out for Apex.

The core of apex is there but never been executed correctly after season 12. I have a soft spot for apex. It was my favourite battle royale during 2020 and 2021. Unfortunately the game doesn’t hit the same. I do have small faith that it may recover and become good again. I have a lot of memories from apex and it’s sad to see it just go down like this

Sad to see something like this happening, I've played apex one week later after the launch, it was awesome, didn't play much after some time and i came back between 2020 until 2022, then i stoped, came back in 2024 and now in 2025, unfortunately it is a game that had potential for many things besides the BR, I even thought that we could got a Titanfall because of the Apex Legends hype but yeah, it's EA, they want money and online service games that will make EA rich

sad thing is apex is dying fast, iv been there since day 1 on its first season and its sad to watch. I stopped playing for a little while but the last 5 season i have been quite consistant but its starting to drain me, after not playing trios because buster swords and op weapons are in the game i switched to ranked, im a level 600 or so and have 2 mates play who are approx level 200, were all high plat but still get lobbies FILLED with high level predators or straight up smurfs who are lvl 40 with 20 bomb badges. Either the rnaking system is broken or their really isnt anyone playing the game anymore so that preds can vs preds

Apex's death can be fully blamed on EA. Back when it was released, the company had zero faith in it and barely gave it any funding. Apex when it first came out was the best experience i have ever had in the 20 years I've been playing video games. As soon as EA saw the numbers Apex was capable of, they wanted more. And they haven't stopped wanting more in over three years. I've spent thousands of hours and probably spent way more money than I'm willing to find out only for EA to say that its not enough and practically kill the game. People aren't leaving because there's not enough things to buy, THEY'RE LEAVING BECAUSE THERE'S NO REASON TO PLAY THE DAMN GAME We used to get multiple lore updates with every season, every event had a purpose in the story. Now? It's all collaborations or some other excuse to sell recolors of skins they already designed two years ago. We haven't gotten a new gun or character in multiple seasons, gameplay is relatively the same, why the hell would people come back? People buy things because they like playing, not because they like giving you money. Personally, as much as i hate to see it, i truly hope we see the video games industry collapse in the next few years just like everything else is about to because our entire planet is fueled by greed and nothing else - empathy has been lost
