I've been seeing these people ALOT way back, nowdays I've either been lucky or simply blind/deaf, but I've took a pause from Dota for like 2 years and started again couple months back. People tend to use voice chat more and not for yelling insults you don't understand, but for actual communication, people are more aware about itemisation against certain match-ups, understand more how laning phases work and what's better for the team.. OFC, there's always the one who is clueless and plays their own game, BUT... for the most part people I've been in match with for the past couple of months were friendly, funny, solid and well-behaved individuals. I'm playing on EU-WEST & EAST and people criticizing Russians are simply dumb. Sure they have poor communication most of the time, but I've learned couple of words over the years of playing Tarkov, so I try with broken-Russian to communicate and it always brings smile to them when you try and they are super friendly because of that! My last game was a truly one of the best games I've ever had. It was 1 hour and 27 minutes long, both teams were level 30, full items, every mistake would decide the game, BUT ... every teamfight ended up just one or two players surviving... it was at 3 AM so everyone was tired, yet all players tried their best and it was truly one of the most enjoyable games I had. I was tiny pos 4, had all the auras and tanky items for the team, guardian boots and I was the team's punchint bag. Our Jugg had to put his son to sleep two times in thr match and enemy team's Lion had his Daughter with covid at home... we all talked in the post-game for 20 more minutes. Bless this game

og had one of the most toxic players for them aka ceb atf and even in progames proceeded to spam chatwheels drop mantles etc so i don't see the connection between grubby and them

In game him and ceb n others may seem toxic & too loud, but in reality they are the nicest dudes to ever play the game. Grubby has the same vibe bro. He may say these things after playing 500 games or so but he is very nice as we can understand.

Gyro diff was fucking genius regardless. He's a pos 2, opened up to more utility. But their entire enemy team relied heavily on mana and abilities in spite of having largely low mana pools. Being able to lock down 5 targets that rely on mana with low manapools was better than having an AM. And worst come to worse, the slow opens up easier Q and W for gyro to play with against a melee-heavy opponent lineup. Theres a reason that play was so exalted in Dota legend, arguably one of the best item buys in tournament history, it completely turned the game on it's head.

I’ve been playing for 9 years now and am still bad and I think that’s ok. It’s always a game I can come back to, feel solid in my foundation with room to learn, and just have some fun. I’m not in it for an MMR personal record I can tattoo on my chest, but it’s a game I’ve always felt was great.

People forgot this is team game not individual game. If 1 or 2 making ruin gameplay when we traying play as a good play a role, is making us sad. But what making we so mad because some people so ignored and so selfish. And we all forget, we play a game for a fun and enjoying a game, but with dota community, we can't do that.
