28:00 is really impressive how Happy controls the battle with only 3 heroes against whole Grubby's army. EDIT: Minute later inevitable happens lol

Yeah, I think it's his secret to 1100W 14L score, - he almost doesn't do army, except few casters that restore health and mana, and have dispel, a maybe a few ranged units, mainly he tries to upgrade his Lich with claws and other attack items, and just makes one man army under thousand of heals, which leads his opponent to almost never gain any experience except killing neutral units.

Very nice game. Sad that the golden days of WC 3 are over. But still nice to see 2 of my favourite players from back then still battling it out. The battle never ends. Just for me i never liked the matches vs undeads. Undeads always could (and can)turtle like cowards in their base and 1 mine. While their 3 heroes alone are nearly as strong as a whole army.

I remember 'Porco' or something, 7500 wins, like every 1500 icon, and and 85% win ratio. This was on US East before TFT. I think it was actually a team of players. But i've seen some crazy accounts in my time. But 1000:14 is probably the best ratio i've ever even heard of.

Grubby is still a very strong player but especially in the second game you can see that there is a difference between him and and active pros. Grubby literally found the perfect items while Happy only got trash.

Ðraconas Happy has always been a ladder god, but always did “poorly” in tournaments. I mean.. no one would recognize Happy as one of the greatest wc3 players of all time for example, but when that said those stats so unrealistic it’s unbelievable 99% win over 1100 games is unheard of and I honestly don’t think many pros can replicate that even if they tried. You’d have to be the best and play your best every single game, sound exhausting tbh 😄

the obsidian statues/destroyers make undead OP IMO. that statue heal is ridiculous on top of an already strong race.. although undead is very uncomfortable to play for me personally, maybe because of having to build on the corrupted ground or whatever

Biggest mistake in the second game may have been focusing DK with talisman of evasion and frost armor. Grub was doing great when he was just sniping units

29:10 That fight at the end was legendary. Happy is a great player and one of the "oldest" in this "sport". I'm wondering why doesn't he participate more often to tournaments. Too much lag and he 's not willing to go to China/Korea? Btw during the second game he had no destroyers. You should have gotten scroll of protection since you had a decent size of army.

For the second question, he doesn't always play blue. You can make urself blue, allies teal and enemies red with the help of the buttons near the minimap.

@@MatiLuengo to further expand some races blend into the mini map like camoflarge. You can't miss red. It's efficiency of the game more than anything. This was serious competition. The first question is also about efficiency the gold for that research could go towards the tech to teir 3 before you consider upgrades. And at this level of play you are both doing it so they won't have upgrades either.

Expansion is an expensive investment in Warcraft 3, you need to make sure it will survive for more than 4 minutes, otherwise you're just going to waste the resources that could've been used to upgrade your army. Undead is known for it's strong early attack since they have ghouls which is basically the Zergling of Warcraft 3, it's usually a better idea for undead to go with strong army and destroy enemy's expansion before they can get enough value out of it
