Im not sure if you don't know or just don't want to use it for some reason but if you have exhume on the wagons, and put them in the same control group with necromancers, then if you turn on skeleton autocast for a moment they will cast as many skeletons as they can (limited by their mana and the corpse load in the wagons) without trying to exceed the limit (24) and recasting them unecessarily. I found this the fastest and most comfortable way to pump out the maximum amount on skeletons without the need of manually casting them and counting to avoid recasting. I played a lot of necrowagon back than (roughly 13 years ago :) ) and I just wondered watching your necro plays why would you insist on manually droping corpses from the wagon then manually casting summon skeleton when you can pump out limit skeloton with literally one click.
