Lol, this game was a treat. The mass of giants walking up to the base and just demolishing everything. Beautiful. So tanky too. MUCH more fun than abominations. Big, huge damage reduction ability, can switch to siege damage if it wants, a taunt ability, huge hp pool, hoooh... It's great... And to see so many is beautiful. Yo but what would've happened if we went mass gryphon riders?

Request idea: Use stampede or star fall (or better yet, both) from hidden hole in trees either next to main base or as an ambush where you engage then fake retreat past the waiting heroes for a brutal surprise! Are there any other large AOE channelling ultimates of other heroes that could work well in that situation?

An amazing game, but won't lie I was actually rooting for Grubby to lose just because I wanted to see the new knights actually beat mass mountain giant. It was one of the very reasons that new knight change was made!

The knights were late and Grubbys heroes were strong. Pay attention to the firelords soul burns, they were on point.

Dmg reduction from Pit Lord with heal from DK. will smash a lot of enemies :D In late game i play few Abominations and Necromancer spam.. but late game is your choice. What was that at around 18 mins?? Grubby even states "good trade", and then, the HU player TPs back instead of accepting the trade, which guarantees that grubby will keep his expo, while he still has the chance to lose his, which he does promptly... I don't know if it's only me but why didn't he accept the trade instead of panick-tp?

I find it baffling he had Rifles/Priests in the mid game vs MG who have natural reduction + Hardened Skin to those. He should have gotten Knights going sooner and he would have had a better chance, but your ability to deny him MG kills is impressive.

Couldn't you just go mass gryphs against this? Not against the MG's obviously, but just focus fire all the heroes. Mass MG's with no heroes wouldn't be that great... yeah maybe a base race, but I just don't see it winning on the long term.

Yes, and grubby would just go dryads, and that would be a more favorable match up. Also, It's not that easy for human to just switch over. It would require an initial investment of over 500 gold for two aviaries, then another 500+ for two gryphons. Meanwhile, Grubby is still producing, has a bigger army and the human has stopped producing. Grubby sees two gryphons. Big deal, his heroes can take them out or even two dryads. My point is, the game does not exist in a vacuum. You have to consider the hero situation and the volatility of the entire scenario.

@@hylianlegends Of course you don't just switch over, but you also don't just replace 6+ MG's with a bunch of dryads either. Those things are a ton of supply. And after the tree of life is dead, it limits your options further. Yeah, okay, perhaps not mass gryphs. My point is the human seemed to be in a very good position for most of this game, but then he got stuck ramming into a MG wall with Tranquility repeatedly. Why not try to play around that in some way? Trying to take them head on seems like the worst way to go about it.

Maybe a few mortars would work better. Would be really efficient in the base race scenario too, had the priests to buff them up and could really force fights which are undesirable for grubby whilst piling on damage. Not to mention, with proper control, MGs wouldnt really be able to get past the tclap mk and knights.

@@Matthew-uv6gl Human had a ig problem though: He lost his expansion for technically free. And it seems he had a hard time getting it back, too. Without expansion it is hard to make switches
