This might be a little too advanced for the average viewer, but I would love a video focused on different timings. It can start with the simple things like when the troll priests or zeppelins become available or like boots, minor invulnerability potions, heal scrolls, etc. Hero/Race power spike timings or openings such as the popular tier 2 timed mass huntress rush Night Elves like to utilize vs Orcs when they've just finished upgrading to a stronghold but haven't finished their Spirit Lodge/Bestiary (Explaining that an Orc player needs to invest both 315 gold and 190 wood, as well as wait 140 seconds, all while an NE player can choose to invest that time and those resources in a strategically timed attack when the Orc player is more vulnerable. Risk/Reward). There are so many critical timings in Warcraft 3, and knowledge of them has such a big impact on strategy.

Another video idea could be explaining to newer players what makes a hero strong early game vs late. An example might be heroes like the Beast Master, Dark Ranger, and Keeper of the Grove. They all have summoned units which, percentage-wise, can significantly impact the size of your army. When you and your opponent only have 4 or 5 units and you summon two more your army is 50% larger. However, once tier 2 comes around and players have access to dispel, those summoned units become a liability instead of an asset not to mention 2 additional units when you have 40 is only an increase of 5%. Heroes like the Warden or Panda are rather underwhelming early but greatly reward a player for leveling them to 5 & 6 with their devastating AOE abilities and powerful ultimates. A bonus might be to discuss heroes that are good or decent from beginning to end. The demon hunter comes to mind. His evasion makes him solid early when the NE army needs a front liner for creeps, his mana burn at level 3 makes him solid mid-game, and his ultimate can still win you a game (unlike a hero such as a naga sea witch). He might not be flashy or have any big timing but it is a good solid hero who won't feel weak at any point in the game.

Thank you for this guide, I was really looking forward to it! A harassing guide would be really helpful for me, and I think for others as well. I play orc, and this guide's conclusion for Orc was also to do lot of harassing. The video could be about when should I harass, what to focus to kill, when is it good to harass peasents, etc. I often end up getting my hero and units killed, though that could be mainly a micro issue, but I usually don't have much idea whether I should try to steal the creep, or kill footmen, or focus hero, especially when I only harass with a single hero (maybe accompanied by spirit wolves), and he got multiple other units around.

Grubby, please more drawings. The video was great, but I was utterly and hopelessly confused. But then, I saw the drawing, and it suddenly all clicked! Consider starting a new Bob Ross styled warcraft 3 channel teaching us the importance of calming the soul through the medium of drawing, before each match! Haha, all jokes aside, this is why I'm subscribed to both HeroesHearthWC3 as well as FollowGrubby! Great humor, fantastic casting, and insightful videos!

Hey Grubby, I just want to show the appreciation for so much you've done for the game, especially after the reforged flop. You and Thrall are the reason for me to fight for the Horde. Thank you man.

Great guide! Could you maybe also make a video that goes a little more in-depth? I'm an orc player and I feel like I take too much damage while creeping and therefore have to spend a lot on healing salves. There are tricks like pulling out creeps, manipulating the shadowpriests so that they don't heal, pulling the out rock golem so it doesn't use spells, or the trick on the wizard on terenas stand with the frost armor. Many little things that imo could still be touched on. I fail these at least half of the time because these tricks are somewhat of a mystery to me :D

Sucks that orc isn't that efficient in creeping. Though looking at the heroes of orcs, they do become a big threat if they over leveled their opponent.
@FollowGrubby4 жыл бұрын
They're not that bad, Farseer helps to creep a lot, as well as going Headhunters builds. My personal favorite creeping tactic for Orc is FS + fast tech, warmill into rax, 3-4 HHunters, then Alchemist from Tav w/ Acidbomb and BOOM you can creep any camp on the map.
