La Rochelle/Leinster & Sharks/ Toulouse are the two games I’m looking for this weekend. But as a Toulouse fan, I’m just really worried, this match is gonna be tough physically. Saffas are agressive players and I hope there ain’t gonna be any injuries tomorrow, cause 6N is just around the corner and French national team’s gonna need every top/experienced player to pretend for the Grand Slam

Tim, thank you for your passionate channel. The champion cup,, once the format is minimized to 16 teams only, then every game becomes crucial it will fly again. South Africa will.provide real growth for it not just financially, but player growth. Du Pont, who I think is just insanely good, has had a brief stint off the bench for France as his only time playing in the southern hemisphere. That is criminal and I wonder if their is any link to managing your perform away from.home for extended periods for those players. The WC you have to be away from home traveling for long periods, and only really do the southern hemisphere teams get this experience on an annual basis.

Although travel fatigue might still be an issue,factors like altitude, heat, snow, rain, cold or humidity are becoming almost a none issue. SA teams need to realise that the heat and altitude at home against European teams are no longer a game changer. Professional teams have adapted.

The media keep saying Sharks vs Toulose is a Boks-France match. Not at all. More than 15 experienced Boks (+20 caps) don´t play for the Sharks. Afraid to say, without a suerhuman effort, the Sharks will lose this one by +21 points.

I think it's easy to forget that the last time the sharks played Toulouse, eventhough they were hammered eventually, Toulouse were only leading them by 6 points, 26-20 with just 12 minutes to go. So I don't think the final score was really a fair reflection of the game in France that day. The sharks were also without Fassi that day, and Andre Esterhuizen wasn't even signed by them back then. The sharks's defence and attack improved tremendously since then and they have a completely new coaching staff plus this game is at home for them. Having said that, I do think Toulouse will take this one but not by 20 points, more like 8 points.

Sadly sharks got a few big name injuries, but be awesome to see how others rise to the occasion, I'm a sharks supporter, but sadly I don't think we will get this, but stranger things have happened. Hope for a very hard game and fight to the end from both teams, sharks do seem to lose it in the second half sadly. But I got Toulouse 36-sharks 24

Despite being South African I agree with Du Pont that there is no logic to SA Teams being in the European Cup..But my reasons differ a bit to his ...Today the weather at kick off time expected to be close to 30 degrees..Probably a degree or two warmer in the stadium...Its insane playing a rugby match in Durban early January ....And yes Tim high humidity just for good measure ...Thats going to have an effect on players coming from the dead of winter in Europe ...Question ..would Rassie rather have SA teams in or out the tournament..Think I know the answer.

Agree with Tim with regards Glasgow, but Racing are an absolute basket case of a club. They have so much cash and have had a player roster past and present which is the envy of nearly all clubs a stadium which is probably the best in club rugby, yet the trophy cabinet is pretty bare. I have heard that their billionaire owner is getting fed up and might sell, shows money doesn't always buy success.
