The problem is that Hulk power is not nearly infinite. That is a hyperbole. He is still human and the human mind can only handle so much rage before passing out. Hulk been knocked out by characters weaker then he is all the time. Wolverine knocked him out and even Spiderman knocked him out in one hit when Spiderman was enraged himself. If someone like Spiderman can knock out The Hulk, Superman takes this no problem.

Why not? He has shown to get tired and enough pain turns him back to Bruce Banner. Hulk was never able to beat people far more powerful then him. Heck if Hulk had no limit, he would be unstoppable.... which isnt true because he has been stopped so many times that I wonder why people took the hyperbole seriously of him having infinite strength. Silver Surfer, Zeus, Odin, Sentry, Ironman, Thor, Wolverine and even Spiderman have beaten him.The mind has limits to rage and Hulk still has a human body. His regeneration has limits. It doesn't really matter how fast you are if your strongest attacks aren't enough to K.O someone. If you're just asking for 1 feat, allow me to showcase Tales to Astonish #89 where Hulk is literally freshly transformed and manages to overpower a force that could kick a planet out of orbit, ergo, overpowering the gravitational pull of a Sun or Star over a planet so to speak... again Hulk regular power level against Thor and other powerhouses is enough to suggest he's on the same ground as Superman and Hulk's best strength feats surpass Superman's best ignoring ridiculous infinity feats that most powerhouses in the comic industry have as well. Hell, Hulk as Grey Hulk has an infinity feat and things like that shouldn't even be mentioned due to its unquantifiable nature. Even if we take Superman moving the Earth around Hulk performed such feat in the 70s while freshly transformed let alone a feat 13 times greater than those in 2006 as the Green Scar while weakened.

Nah still doesnt account for Supes other abilities. Even WB Hulk can be thrown into the sun at faster than light speed. He has no defense. Superman is not going to trade blows with Hulk. He's Genius level intellect and he would quickly understand that brawling isnt going to work. He'd quickly find other ways to take him out. And he has the means to do so. Also Sentry fought Hulk to a point where he reverted back to Banner. If Sentry can do it, Superman can.

Stan - OK... first, tell me when Superman has ever done this with a brawling opponent. He doesn't. Period. Despite genius a level intellect, he can't help himself and will immediately start throwing haymakers. That's how he fights brawlers despite having Doomsday beat him to near death. Despite Atlas completely outclassing him. As for Sentry, comparing him to Superman is just...not even fair. Sentry is a reality warper and can't be killed. The fight would be over before beginning. Sentry is next level and Superman can't get with him at all. Yet World War Hulk shut him down and then grew in strength to a level beyond that! Superman being Superman, has no chance. If someone else had Superman's abilities and thought differently, they may have a slight chance.

I agree with this outcome. Both are tremendous power houses, both have never give up fighting spirits, but the often overlooked greatest power of all is the intellect. Superman very often finds himself against opponents who are more powerful. That's when he falls back on his intelligence and in that department he clearly outmatches the Hulk. He would use his brains to outsmart the Hulk. He could simply put him into the Phantom Zone or construct a gamma ray weapon to change him back to Banner. End of the day his intelligence would be the deciding factor if he could not over power him

In their first encounter that you mentioned Superman more less toyed with the Hulk is if he was a child throwing a temper tantrum and could not be moved or hurt. Superman could have ended that fight at any time but chose to do it in a way as to not hurt the hulk too bad. Superman was the clear winner and that first fight. It's like saying when you're play wrestling with your kid and they are getting aggressive and giving it their all they are the Victor because you didn't just take them down immediately. The second fight that you talked about on the other hand is Superman when he's not playing around. And while you say Superman has limited power that is a little debatable. I've always looked at it as how much solar power does he have it stored in him at the time and he never really knows because he tries his best not to use all his power so he never really knows how strong he is. While they say the Hulk has unlimited it takes time to get angrier and angrier which is when the Hulk will usually get beat by somebody as fast and as strong as Superman who can dole out the punishment to quickly or all at once resulting in knockout of Hulk

I agree that Superman can defeat Hulk. But your way of getting to the point, and explanation of Hulk's strength and ability to possibly beat Superman was greatly flawed. Hulk's strength is said to be limitless based on his anger, but that's just not true. One can get only so angry, there is a limit to emotion, therefore a limit to Hulk's strength increasing beyond a point. His size and mass is often misconstrued as power and strength. His anger and angry expressions appear to make him dominant and capable just because he roars. Superman on the other hand, is more closely to being limitless in power. The solar radiation that provides Superman his strength is stored up in his cells. Constantly being replaced and renewed, and when being used or exhausted can last for many days without a light source. He can fly into the Sun itself and return a practical god. Similar to Hulk, he has fought and defeated angels and Universe destroying aliens. He has contained a small black hole in the palm of his hands. Whatever the Hulk can do, Superman can do it also, and more. Writers have gotten so sloppy in their depictions of many superheroes that proper tier levels separating the power and abilities of characters is nearly non-existent. The most extreme of this foolishness would be Batman "defeating" Superman. And recently I've seen comments from what could only be an idiot, that Spider-Man could take a missile to the face, and also defeat Superman by fighting him at a nuclear power site?! Bottom line, though Superman and Hulk are comparable, and make proper combatants, there are numerous pair-ups of superheroes that simply should not take place. It usually serves only to falsely raise the image of one, usually the "lessor" hero, and at the same time unjustly demean and degrade the other.

The Hulk is not a human being. He is not limited by emotion. He is rage personified. I'm amused when people say things like this when the God powered Celestial beings in the Marvel Universe, #Beyonder, say that his rage has no limits and that his strength has no finite element minus Banner. Banner is the only thing that holds him back.Superman, however, is not more close to being limitless in power. He is a solar battery, but even batteries run out. This has happened to Superman on multiple occasions (see first Doomsday fight). He burned through all of his energy stores. The Hulk doesn't have this as a problem. His rage is continuous. His power comes from another realm and IS limitless.

I don't fully agree with your Hulk explanation. Nevertheless, Superman has defeated Hulk. Yes, Superman has been compared to a solar battery. But, Superman doesn't exactly "run out" of power. He is constantly recharging and replacing his energy. He weakens when he is using up his stored energies faster than replacing them. Such as in extreme circumstances that go on for days, like fighting Doomsday, a Kryptonian being himself. Superman was a lone combatant against Doomsday, when previously, the entire JLA of the time, failed to do anything to stop him. Superman has been describes as always holding back, and not having reached his full potential. It is been said his strength is limitless. Superman, with one hand, held back trillions of tons for an extended period of time, forming only a single bead of sweat, (the issue where this is shown I don't recall). Even doing this did not deplete his energies. My point is, explaining Superman as a limited solar battery is not sufficient to comparing him to Hulk.

Alone, freeze breath or a heat vision may not prove effective but freezing surroundings or even hulk himself leaving him temporarily vulnerable to a attack is. Which version of Superman are you putting up against the Hulk? And that rule isn't some secret, everyone knows that rule, but Hulk has to get to World Breaker levels just to get in Superman's base power level bracket. Not saying he's not crazy powerful, but he has FEWER powers, abd the ones they have in common are almost a tie. So if I have 10 oranges and 10 tomatoes and you only have 11 oranges but no tomatoes, I win in a battle of fruit since I have both oranges and tomatoes and have more total fruit. I disagree with your outcome @PerfectMayhem82, because you said Supes would win by sending Hulk away from the planet but that is not a win that is a nulling/draw. He didn't BEAT Hulk he just suspended the fight. If your winning criteria is whomever is last standing in the planet then fine, but that is not a win as in beating Hulk in a fight. Personally I feel Hulk would be the victor here just due to superman usually taking time before he'd go all out and around that time hulk should be mad enough. Throwing hulk into space is not a good plan considering it's been attempted before and hulk ended up just grabbing them and stopping them. For specific example Gladiator attempted such a thing and was prompted punished for it. Hulk continues to get more and more powerful and eventually the speed edge superman has would fall off. In case you didn't know everything about hulk gets stronger when he's angrier wolverine has told is to thank for letting us see how his regeneration gets stronger and more potent and his durability grows higher too. Silver surfer showcased how hulk gets faster the angrier he gets as well due to Silver surfer literally on panel making fun of the hulk because he thought the hulk was far too slow tohit him and within the next few swings hulk punched Silver surfer and made him regret trying to dodge. Obviously I don't need to mention how obsurdly strong hulk can get. Him shaking the entire marvel multiverse with a clap should showcase that but that's an old scan so I'll use a more recent one where the hulk defeated onslaught with a few punches (2 I believe) that literally hit onslaught so hard that reality itself bent and onslaught was deleted from existence. Sounds almost like a retcon punch.😂 I feel with this plus not even to mention worldbreaker anger levels that would definitely 1 shot superman but even if you argue that it couldn't. Worldbreaker isn't hulk's angriest and even while in worldbreaker he still continues to grow stronger the angrier so with such a self buffing character like hulk I see superman losing.

I agree with the outcome, but there are several things that bother me. For one, the main focus of the Superman/Spiderman crossover wasn't their fight, that was the focus of the first crossover. This crossover is the second. Second, if we judge the third fight like you did the first one then Superman would win since he landed more hits than the Hulk. Plus can we really count the first one like that, Hulk winning because he landed more hits? If a baby hit me repeteadly and I didn't fight back does that mean the baby won? Not really. Not to mention after destroying that device Hulk still wanted to fight but was tired so he couldn't really harm Superman in that fight since he would tire out without being able to harm Superman. And when it comes to strenght I would disagree as well. Superman's solar absorbtion isn't finite, there is no limit to the amount he can absorb as shown him going into the Sun in Our Worlds at War storyline or his future self, Superman Prime, having spent 15 000 years in the Sun and who says he can't go beyond?

Hulk wouldn't even have to make anywhere close to a direct hit in order to kill them. Hulk also lets himself get hit all the time because he's extremely tough in the first place and any apparent damage he may isn't permanent kind and won't destroy him and he becomes stronger according the strain of combat. THE INCREDIBLE HULK #3 "The Most Powerful Muscles Of Any Living Thing On Earth!" That quote is said many times in comics, Why is that? It's because.... Hulk is fueled by nuclear power(forces of atomic destruction) , also known as gamma rays. Its energy is reliant on the objects speed of vibration. This is the power of the Hulk. Muscle power is all about the speed of muscle contraction. Muscles put out power by stretching and then rapidly shortening like rubber bands. Power is the force of an object and how fast that force is traveling. Hulk hits with the same force of a nuclear arsenal with Hulks has a mass of only 2000 pounds. His muscle contractions move at the speed of light or greater to do that, because of the atom smashing forces that he's fueled by, known as gamma-rays. Hisblows, just lika nuke, push forth a hypersonic wall of air capaable of completely devasting anything in front of it. Because of this, the writers don't have to directly state Hulk's speed when he's really cutting loose with his striking/thrusting. The nature of gamma rays speaks for itself. Constantly stating Hulk's speed would just be redundant. As we know Hulk, body is far denser than a normal human's. It's the same on a human level. When you work-out constantly enough your muscles thicken. The reason muscles thicken when you workout is so they can exert more energy without being torn up in the process. Lets be real, NO xray & heat visions, breath, sonic claps, freeze breath, flying, speeds, leaping, will stop Hulk nor Superman; I had 2 crossover comics that prove this..in fact Superman said Hulk took Supes' best shots & Superman had nothing left. This battle comes down to strait raw strength of power, endurance, & whose intellect will out do the other. . Also, it's hilarious, the fact so many people think "throwing Hulk into the sun" would work. Hulk adapts to survive in space, he has also survived a supernova, and nuclear blasts. Hulk's base strength depends on the situation and how stressful it is. If you're just asking for 1 feat, allow me to showcase Tales to Astonish #89 where Hulk is literally freshly transformed and manages to overpower a force that could kick a planet out of orbit, ergo, overpowering the gravitational pull of a Sun or Star over a planet so to speak... again Hulk regular power level against Thor and other powerhouses is enough to suggest he's on the same ground as Superman and Hulk's best strength feats surpass Superman's best ignoring ridiculous infinity feats that most powerhouses in the comic industry have as well. Hell, Hulk as Grey Hulk has an infinity feat and things like that shouldn't even be mentioned due to its unquantifiable nature. Even if we take Superman moving the Earth around Hulk performed such feat in the 70s while freshly transformed let alone a feat 13 times greater than those in 2006 as the Green Scar while weakened.

If you're just asking for 1 feat, allow me to showcase Tales to Astonish #89 where Hulk is literally freshly transformed and manages to overpower a force that could kick a planet out of orbit, ergo, overpowering the gravitational pull of a Sun or Star over a planet so to speak... again Hulk regular power level against Thor and other powerhouses is enough to suggest he's on the same ground as Superman and Hulk's best strength feats surpass Superman's best ignoring ridiculous infinity feats that most powerhouses in the comic industry have as well. Hell, Hulk as Grey Hulk has an infinity feat and things like that shouldn't even be mentioned due to its unquantifiable nature. I do not think his powers would give him the win. He fights Thor all the time and can tag him. Now the throw him into space I can see. It would not kill him but it would allow him to get out of the fight. Hulk would come back but for a while he would be up there just ranting until he did. Ok I'll reply. First things first Hulk is NOT an amped up DD at all. DD would beat Hulk. DD has been beaten to death many times but much stronger foes therefore Hulk cannot kill DD so theres that. And you're right if Superman did go into space he would massacre Hulk because Hulk cant maneuver, Superman can. Also in WW Hulk Sentry was not emitting any radiation to revert Hulk. It was straight blow for blow and they caused each other to revert. And he didnt defeat Hulk, actually Banner knocked out Sentry so technically Hulk won. Also Hulk has been knocked out before by foes weaker than Superman, like Spiderman for example. Hulk doesnt immediately rage to full, it takes time and Superman can knock him out before then. For one example, he can simply hit Hulk 100 times in a matter of a second or two. He moves at light speed, he can do things before Hulk even knows theres combat, and to top it all off Hulks regeneration would not survive being in the sun. He would die, not get mad. Like Mayhem said Superman is not gonna stand there and trade blows with Hulk after he gets to a certain level, if he even gets there before Supes knocks him out. Superman is gonna use his other abilities. He could literally totally vaporize Hulks brain through his eyes with heat vision. Thats dead. Even Wolverines regeneration couldnt survive that, the problem is you cant get to their brain because of Hulk being ridiculously durable or in Wolverines case his adamantium. Regeneration can be overcome with enough damage output and has been on MANY occasions. I disagree a little with this, the hulk has already defeated quicksilver 2 times very easily and the writers say that he moves in picoseconds and can have immeasurable speed if he has the right motivation and this shows that the hulk is not as slow as people believe. In terms of strength, I also disagree with Superman being stronger, of course their strength changes according to their motivations but at most I think the Hulk takes the lead, especially if it's on Earth, where Superman only has 1 sun . Even so, I agree with Superman having the advantage in agility and speed but I don't think the difference is much, so the Hulk would be able to hit, block and even dodge some of Superman's attacks, in DC Batman was already able to dodge the heat vision of superman and if batman is fast enough to do that, I guarantee the hulk is too. heat vision typically moves at the speed of light for those who are curious

Superman wins EVERY SINGLE TIME, and for the same reason: all other things being equal, Superman moves faster than light. Hulk doesn't even move faster than sound. To Superman, Hulk would be an unmoving object that he could pound on at will, landing Hulk-level punches faster than Hulk's healing factor could deal with. Yes, yes, I know...some of you will say, "Well, Hulk has fought super fast opponents before and won!" And to that I respond that EVERY SINGLE TIME that has happened, the writers have utterly ignored the other character's speed and had him fight Hulk on his own speed level. They even did it in Marvel vs DC. They NEVER have Hulk's opponents using their speed against him unless those opponents are no threat to him otherwise - Spiderman being the classic example. And again, it's a fallacious argument to say because he's like such-and-such character, that what happened with that character will happen with him.

Let me go on the record as saying I have read comics the majority of my life. Everytime Superman has done something, one of these new jack writers come up with some stunt to outshine KAL. As soon as Superman noticed Hulk calming down, he should have snaped his neck like a twig, goodbye Hulk. Dávid Pap Totally Awesome Hulk is a different character entirely. Bruce Banner/Hulk is currently alive again. Was brought back in Secret Empire.

I really respect this guy's opinion. He fairly went over each character's feats and correctly stated that Hulk is physically stronger and more durable. Though Superman is faster and more versatile. Making them equal. You stated that Superman would marginally win for very agreeable reasons. I think both characters are equal in power so I don't see any point in putting them against each other but great video nonetheless.

While Hulk and Superman are both super powerhouses, i really feel that Supes could overcome Hulk with all his other abilities. He would be able to outsmart him, or outmanveur him. supes stills wins hulk is always at a disadvantage cause unlike superman he has to become hulk.. he always has to hulk up by becoming more angerier .supes will always be able to meet hulk at every level as he is always stronger more powerful than him. superman has beaten beings way more stronger than hulk in all his forms .even if he went all out hulk would be depleted to where superman would may be worn down but still on his feet and then he could just knock out hulk or hulk would just revert back to banner ..wbh is on a doomsday level and supes has beaten doomsday
