I know this is old...Shame on me. I'm probably in the minority by far but I actually really wish they kept the native American dark angels. I made my own army on the TT native..had to after reading this book back in the day. Love it

@@TheFluffenhammer For sure. Excellent job on the audio buddy. It rekindled my love for this old story. I also completely agree with you that it made them incredibly unique. Tragically replaced with generic knights and seeeecrets -___- but hey Cloud Runner lives in through my dark angels lists, paint scheme, and 3rd party NA heads haha. Subscribed my man. Keep up the stellar work.

@themaraca8 жыл бұрын
Adam Nicol, it was yes. brilliant read. after an absence of maybe 20 years from 40k, I'm back into it. I still remember the black and white drawings and Adrian being an Ork. This is how I remember the deathwing though, cloud runner and lame bear. almost like they were recruited from native americans. Nice audio book.
@happytravelling7 жыл бұрын
There are a couple. Do you mean the one where the scouts are scavenging in a tyranid ship and find a battle brother in the ship? Or where scouts board a ship not knowing it is a tyranid ship? Or where scouts board a ship that has prisoners waiting for brain sucking and save some of them and leave behind a big bomb?
@joecarpenter15507 жыл бұрын

Your recording is great, but what the hell with this story - 200 year old space Marines complaining about old age? Whining about how they'll die of old age soon, and that they're tired?! I had no idea that Deathwing Marines were so lame and pathetic. But your reading is awesome! Keep it up!

wow i didnt know they were native american themed. what on earth were they thinking changing them to knights , why not both lol ? smh, i understand the feathers on them now anyways lol i love finding out the old ways of 40k,. so why did the armor change from black to green? i was told it was an artists mistake & they just kept it lol .
@s2korpionic4 жыл бұрын
"so why did the armor change from black to green?" I believe this was in response to them disassociating themselves from their old legion identity, which was compromised on the loyalty front. " what on earth were they thinking changing them to knights , why not both lol ?" In my head canon they're a hybrid of both cultures, you should do so to if you want it. There's also the heavy abrahamic naming style the Dark Angel heroes have to consider.
