6:42 yes this is a step but the cow is not conscious during this, beforehand they typically are stunned. “Stunning”, in animal science, is a process which involves a few different methods to render the cattle entirely unconscious without killing it, sticking the cow follows (sticking meaning bleeding out) Stunning methods include, penetrating captive bolt (A gun fires a metal bolt into the brain of the animal) and electrical (an electric current is passed through the animals brain) there are more methods but these are the only two commonly used on cattle or other large animals.

So... the whole bit about Arin's email being leaked, was that a bit, or did that actually happen? The fact that it was filmed and made into the final cut makes me think it was a bit, but it was SO AGGRESSIVELY unfunny that I don't think they would have written something like that
