@Stop speeding I think people say that because of the more dirty sound. I wouldnt compare this to rock for the 60s or 70s and not straight up punk. It also draws on 90s grunge aesthetics, well the more romanticized version. Like Starcrawler does not give me those vibes but this does even though both use instruments.
