Zephyr and Nikai are captive-born gray wolves at the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), a 501c3 non-profit organization, in South Salem, NY. They are two of the three 'ambassador wolves' at the WCC that help teach the public about wolves and their vital role in the environment.

@@janelle9998 yeah. According to his body language. Wolves use body languages to communicate and show expressions to each other. For example, a wolf will growl and bite at the other wolf when they're grumpy and not in the mood. By acting submissive, a wolf will squat down with it's tail tucked underneath, and avoid staring at another wolf. If you watch one of the other videos of the wolf conservation center, you'll see how the dad wolf uses his body language, and you'll see how the mother growls and gets angry at her teenage pups. Easy observation of the wolf's behavior. Remember, zephyr is using body language.

Because he is an ambassador wolf for the center, and was socialized and raised by humans. His entire role is to be okay with humans so people can learn more about wolves, same as his baby brother who he is growling at. You can see videos of Nikai as a pup on this channel.

He maybe is in pain... a wolfhound hybrid acted like this when he was asked if he likes to be comfort from my dog... my dog acted exactly like this ... tail was wagging and she didn´t want to leave ...than we found a tiny piece of wood sticking in his paw already a little infection... Lilli showed us that we should check on him... and when he realised that we want to follow her advice he let us act and help him in a very generous way... after completing the work he liced our throught and ears... I think he loves me and I love him... and Lilli loves me too... and him... and even his crazy human friend loves me and Lilli and him... and anyway love everybody... :-))) especially wolf brothers and sisters...they never lie and the know that I too try to be as thruthfull as possible... sorry enlish is not my motherlanguage
