I dont get the part with Subjuktioner . Why cant * Olle skämtade* or *Alla skrattade* be on thier own ?

Hej! The video is correct, but you misunderstod what he said. "Olle skämtade" and "Alla skrattade." are both main clauses and can stand on their own. But in the video "Alla skrattade" is NOT an example of a main clause, in stead it belongs to the sub clause. Like this: "så alla skrattade". Sub clauses can never stand in their own, becuase they are impossilbel to understand without the main clause. Look at this example of a sub clause: "när vi kom fram till Stockholm". Can you understand it? No, you can´t becuase you don´t know what happened when you came to Stockholm. But if I add a main clause: "Vi åt lunch, när vi kom fram till Stockholm." Now it is clear what happened, right?
