The best thing that has happened to me so far is that I have learned to let go of the things I cannot control. As an empath, I used to give a damn about everything, and it exhausted me mentally and emotionally to the point that I got derailed. What I am most grateful for is that I am still alive despite the major health concerns last February (Diagnosis of Ventricular Remodeling + Hypertension) while juggling school, full-time work, and sidelines. For my family, I'd do everything, even if I miss spoiling myself at this point in time. I have been storing my dream stuff for the meantime in my shopping platform carts and hoping that one day, I get to spend for myself as well. I just hope by then, I'm still alive. LOL

I think the best thing that has happened to me the first 6 months of 2023 is that I have slowly come to love myself even more. More to the point that I more comfortable and stable at work.
