Silicone in haircare is actually GOOD but it's been demonized. If you do research, certain forms of silicone are MORE beneficial! I used to avoid them and since I found out that you shouldn't my hair has actually IMPROVED. Abbey Yung, (I think that's how her name is spelled.) well she has a very informative video on silicone in haircare backed up with her research which is well cited. As long as you use a real cleansing shampoo, silicone is GOOD for your hair and helps stop breakage and improves manageability! Abbey Yung knows hair care and is really well informed in her videos she even reads text books on the science of haircare ingredients and everything. I highly recommend you check out her videos!

It is on the pricier side, but I've found that for most clean shampoos they are around this price range. They also keep my hair clean for longer, so I don't have to wash it as much, and don't waste much product! But I definitely understand that it is a bit of a splurge
