I just got hired in bbw and I worked two shifts so far. I do enjoy it so far. I have done the front of store, closing shifts and register. I love working somewhere I’m passionate about. It makes work not so much like work. I never had a job I enjoyed until now.

i start tomorrow for seasonal!!! i’m so nervous! i’m not familiar with all the scents and most products, im scared i’ll mess up even though i have 3 years of customer service under my belt.. it’s still scary to start somewhere new but hopefully it goes well!

I just started last month and on my 4th day today. So I haven't been on floor to long to really learn all the smells which in some candles that I smelt was more woodsy but told its fresh and fruity. 🤔 so when on my 3rd day a customer came in asking for a certain candle and I didn't 3ven know that name existed 😅 I told her I'm still learning the store.. I do shop at BBW but of course that is when I'm able to afford (rare) to since its really pricey and now that I'm working it I'm worried I might not know every scent when they want me to which I only favor a few 😬😅😓 how long did it take you to learn everything?

Hey thanks for watching! I am still learning smells to this day. There are new ones every month. I do have a few favs that I would highly recommend to customers. Older people tend to like the more perfume smells. Younger people like the fruity smells. That’s just something I have noticed. I could do a video on that if you want me too.

does your store have the lil "cheat sheet" booklets? (today was my second day working) all my coworkers have a lil booklet they carry in the aprons with (most) of the scents being carried separated into note categories, so that if we're stumped when a customer's looking for the specific scent, an alt to the specific fragrance, etc. we can glance at it. i dont have one yet, but they're supposed to get more soon. maybe check if yours have anything like that? if it makes you feel any better, i got grilled on memorozing Fall In Bloom's scent range literally 5 minutes into my shift today and i totally bombed😅

So overall its been a thrill qltho I do notice they seem to be extremely pushy when it comes to getting people to sign up. I understand retail but in all honesty I think it's to over dramatic how pushy they seem to be. I don't know about your store lol. But ya that would be great if you haven't done a video of that already!!
