TAETAE ARMY Vietnamese is SOO HARD to learn because there is North Vietnamese and South Vietnamese which basically one is formal Vietnamese and the other is slang Vietnamese. The dialects are so different but learning both formal and slang will be essential when speaking to either a northern or southern Vietnamese person. I’m currently learning how to speak both because I’m husband is from Vietnam and I would love to communicate with his family in their own language but also teach my daughter it as well. I’m also teaching my husband how to speak Spanish so we can be a multilingual family. ☺️

One thing I noticed is that your hair grows so fast :o I know it’s completely out of context but maybe you could make a video on it if you actually do something to help it grow? I got my hair cut recently and removed all the perm straight hairs to keep my natural waves and I’m looking forward to grow it back! As a bilingual English and German speaker, I agree that it is incredibly difficult to switch between one language and another. I'm better at it than a lot of my family because I grew up speaking both, but I'm definitely more confident in English as I have lived all my life in England than German which I have only visited. I also worry constantly about the grammar when I speak in German because my Onkel (uncle) is always on my back about it - but it's hard, OK! It's completely different from the English grammar. Yeah, being bilingual is... An adventure.
