My prayer is that you find peace for you and your family through this transition. Homeschooling is not easy, but very well worth it. God and you, together, have this because He will never leave you or forsake you! Remember that on the hard days!

That’s so cool! I just took in a rescued Siamese kitty. We don’t know if he’d classify as a “snowshoe “, but he has some unique markings! Blue eyes and a little black dot on each side of his nose. All of our fur babies are special. 😻

10:15 I was the same, we moved so many times before I left school and I never got to settle down, I lived in 8 different houses by the time I was 16. My cousins lived in the same house from birth to leaving school and had lifelong friends from school that they continued to know into adulthood and I was always a bit envious of that. They all went to the same primary school (like elementary) and then moved on to the same high school together. They basically all grew up together. When you move around so often you don't get to really establish any kind of strong friendships or roots. So I feel you on all of that. Cats are gorgeous.

I was just thinking about you, Zabrena. I, too, am a very tactile learner. I was so distracted during school, I daydreamed all day long & consistently got in trouble for it. I found lectures excruciating & really struggled. If it was hands on & I actually was able to do it, touch it, smell it- whole different story. I am thrilled for you & the kids that you've identified their learning styles & preferences early. You will be happier, the kids will be happier & will thrive. I graduated 2 boys from homeschooling. You will never regret it. You will have days that are challenging but being able to homeschool is a blessing. Gia, being a social butterfly, wouldn't thrive unless she is in a group setting. So you're doing the right thing for her.❤

I had a neighbor Tracy who homeschooled her two daughters but she made certain they both had music lessons and other activities that took them.out into the world to learn socialization skills and not stay cooped up in the house . It takes a dedicated mom to spend so much time with her kids. Tracy rarely got a break but she appeared to relish her role.

I grew up in a one room schoolhouse and have never regretted. When the one room houses were closed and we kids came into city schools, we had the best Iowa Basic Skills tests for 2 years. The reasoning being was even though other classes were going on that we might be in, we still absorbed the teachings. Always remember not all kids are college candidates. We need those people that can fix and build things, technical people. Glad everyone is feeling better.

Family first! I homeschooled our kids. It was absolutely wonderful! Be organized and try to maintain a consistent school schedule. My kids had gone to public school initially, and every year we'd sit together in June and reassess how the year went, they could have returned to public school at any time, but they never wanted to! This is a busy, hectic time for you, but I guarantee that when you are older, you will look back so very fondly at these times! 💕

I admire you so much. I had 4 kids in 5 1/2 years and had to home school one of my daughters who had a learning disability. I was able to quit working during that time but it must be so tiring to work and do all the other stuff. Hang in there. It'll all be worth it. ❤

I went to 9 different schools from K-12 countless different daycares and houses Even as an adult now the longest I’ve lived in one house has been 3 years I too wish I had some type of stability as a kid, my friend groups in daycare, school and church were constantly changing and I was ALWAYS the new girl, even my senior year was a brand new school

I feel like no one champions for a child like their parent(s), so who better to teach them. This year, actually since last September, has been very hard for my family. In September, one of my uncles was diagnosed with cancer (he's doing really well now, but it was rough for awhile). And at the end of May another uncle was in a coma for about 2 weeks. He now has to be in a nursing facility. Please pray for my family. We really can use all of the prayers we can get. I will of course do the same for you and yours. ❤

I homeschooled my daughter up through 7th grade. She was a hands on learner..did not like sitting still! We would do puzzles of the United States and I moved at her pace...tried to find ways that she learned best. You can get a lot done in less time than the regular school day when it's just you and your child and not a whole room of kids. It can be tiring but you will be great.

I went to a school that was built on the “one room schoolhouse” theory. It was an amazing experience for me, but it is not for everyone. I thought that the movement was defunct. I hope your son thrives in the environment, there are a lot of positives, the main one being a supportive environment from the other students and a lifelong bond.

I’m glad you got treatment for that pinched nerve. Speaking from experience, what starts as a seemingly small pain can get much worse if you don’t get it taken care of. I love the idea of a “one room school house”. Is that like a version of a “home school co-op”? I believe all the children involved will benefit from that setting. It seems like you’re making the best decision for everyone. It’s so good to see your whole family again (including the fur-kids), and that everyone is healthy and happy. 🥰❤️💕

If you’re heart is telling you to homeschool then listen to it! My kids are all adults now, but if I had to do over again, I would homeschool them in a heartbeat. My youngest is ADHD and on the Autism Spectrum and like your little guy, was a builder and tinkerer of all things mechanical. He actually ended up doing really well through high school with the IEP he got. He did a trade program his last two years and has been working at welding for which he was taught in school. They never caught the flu or virus or whatever at the same time…it lasted for weeks bc one by one they caught it, BUT the by mercy of God, I NEVER once caught any of it. @Zabrena, I am SO happy to hear that you are all feeling better. A pinched nerve is absolutely NO fun. I hope that your shoulder and neck are feeling much better. I too hardly ever get sick but it seems like when i do, I do and its no fun!!!. I was wondering what was going on because I watch you every week and when I had not seen anything on your socials I was praying that you and your family were okay and just way on an end of the summer vacation. You make -up looks amazing in this video BUT that's nothing knew. You truly are absolutely gorgeous with or without make-up. Your make-up looks NEVER disappoint. I also love Ace's question about "what is normal" BUT his answer is just priceless " it means that there is no sparkle on someone " he nailed it with his answer. Your children are so lucky to have you as their Mom as you are to have them as your children, I'm so so happy that Ace came to yoy and your husband and opened up as to what was going on in the place where he was going. Most of the time children are afraid to open up when there is an issue. I had my own daycare for year's out of fear of sending my daughter to be with someone else do to the horrible stories that I've heard from other's whom have sent their children to daycare/preschool etc. Hats off to Ace for knowing that his Mommy and Daddy would look into whatever was going on and making the VERY BEST decision for him and his well-being. You truly are just amazing. I'm so happy that at the age of 40 I became so interested in cosmetics and learning how to do make-up the correct way and came across your amazing videos. So glad you are back and are feeling better. I'm sure you'll do great with homeschooling. My daughter is on her second year of homeschooling. Her children are close in age to yours. 6yo boy & 4yo girl. And a baby. She's a part time nurse and she's loving homeschooling. Our July was crazy too. Emergency back surgery for my husband and found out in that process that he is diabetic. During that time my mom fell and needed surgery for a skin graft. But we are all on the mend here as well. Looking forward to getting ready with you again.

I feel your pain!!! I had a pinched nerve in my neck last month. The pain traveled to the back of my head and down my shoulder 😳 Was seeing the chiropractor daily, massage therapist, muscle relaxers and pain meds! I’d rather give birth again than deal with that pain again!!! So glad everyone is feeling better! Exciting changes coming for you all!
