I live in Philly too and it’s crazy how many people aren’t taking this pandemic as seriously as is needed! Ugh frustrating... Love this video series idea, we all need calming things to watch to distract from the craziness! I LOVE the app Headspace I watch it every night before bed and It’s incredible 💕

Thank you Allie for the fun video! 😊 you should try a green-gold eyeshadow like Green Tea, a loose mineral pigment by Orglamix. It can look more yellow depending on how much you pack it on. And if it's not yellow enough for you, I'm sure you could add a dash more from something 😊. The color was sent to me by the proprietor as a freebie when I ordered the limited edition rose gold shade. And I'm so glad she did! Otherwise I would not have discovered just how much green eyeshadows can make blue eyes pop. It was a real eye-opener 😋. Orglamix has carried other green-golds I'll bet you would love too, like a shade I also have called something like Lucky Girl, very, very yellow-gold light green with multicolored sparks. But it was limited edition. But keep an eye out for something more like that 😊❤

The look comes across as spring-time and I love the vibe :) I don't know if you're open to YA but if you want reads that aren't depressing, I say try Six of Crows. It's about a heist involving a bunch of characters who are smartasses. It says that the characters are in their teens, but they read like they're in the 20s - 30s ish. The setting can get pretty dark, but the characters make up for it. I'm here for it. I found that I loved the Audible version of With the Fire on High (another YA). Maybe because it was read by the author so it was read with an authentic NY accent. And I'm here for that too. Loved the Audible versions of Taylor Jenkins Reid books. They were fab. I don't know what it is about fiction books in general, but I find the majority of them (the above mentioned excluded) to be a bit maudlin. I think that a lot of writers seem to think that in order to be a serious writer, humour has to be thrown out the window. Or the humour is trying too hard and has the opposite effect. That's why I'm more willing to give YA/contemporary romance books a shot. They seem less averse to writing humour capably.

If you enjoy humor and mysteries, you have to check out the Stephanie Plum series! She is a bail bondsmen, but is awful at it, and just kind of stumbles her way through it! She has this overweight (self described), hilarious friend who helps her out. I actually laugh out loud reading it!

@MakeupByAlli4 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! It's angled ;) He took the thinning shears through the bottom (I think that's what they're called haha) and took out a lot of weight through the bottom as well so it lays a bit more smoothly 😊

Yeah girl I don't like sad books/movies/songs either. Life is too serious to be messing around with that stuff. Are you on Goodreads.com? Carl Hiaasen's books are very light upbeat fiction. Uprooted and Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik are really good fairy tale/fantasy books that seem like they might be sad but end up ok in the end. Good luck finding something you love! Thanks for the chill meditation vibe video!
