I think exactly like you do. The children are dressed beautifully like children not like they are in their teens, there is plenty of time for that nonsence. I was also thinking that the hair ties with the balls were exactly like the ones I had when I was a little girl, a long time ago. Some things never change.

As a mom of 4 children with two or them being beautiful biracial boys. I appreciate you for sharing the diversity of the meaning of family. ❤. Yes we have had our problems of people being vocal about our family and even not being served menus, utensils or food at restaurants but we just move on and take our money elsewhere. I remember those ball hair ties from when I was a kid! Ponytails, pig tails (high and low), always held by those things. I had no idea they were still around! Thankfully they no longer have that metal thingy in the middle. Beautiful photos, and memories, of three beautiful little girls and their gorgeous mama. Love the spring dresses! Such a wonderful family making wonderful memories. ❤

Making such beautiful memories with your daughters. I remember my mom fixing my long long hair. I would sit on the floor in front of her chair while she did her magic. We would talk and laugh or watch TV. I’m almost 73 now, but those memories are still very strong and very sweet.

This is so beautiful! Had me tear up 🥲 I know society talks often about the importance of daughters having active fathersin their lives, yet having an active, nurturing mother is as important. To see affection and love from a woman/ mother figure is so crucial to how young girls then embrace their womanhood as they grow up. I remember my mom getting us dressed to do simple pictures at our local public park, and it was this best. Truly love this for you and your girls🥰
