GRWM using Clionadh eyeshadows

Welcome to my get ready with me where I accidentally create a rainbow eyeshadow look while testing out my new Clionadh Cosmetics eyeshadows for the first time. Clionadh Cosmetics is a small indie brand from Canada, so if you do decide to order from them just keep in mind that the order may take a few weeks to ship and arrive. All of the shadows in my palette are listed below and it contains mainly the 13 shades from the Dreamweaver Bundle plus a few additional shades.

Such an awesome and thorough video Kat! Thank you so much. We truly appreciate how detailed you are, ex. showing how different brushes work differently and not just saying ‘well it doesn’t apply with a brush’. And also the constructive criticism is great too, we are always striving to learn and improve! Our matte shadows are definitely on the powdery side as they do not contain filler and are high impact pigment! We are currently using a little hand machine press and are looking into getting heavier duty equipment to help pack them harder to reduce kick up!! So happy you’re enjoying them. Hey Kat, I don’t know if you take requests ☺️ but would you do a video where you recommend eyeshadow palettes from beginner level to makeup junkie? You always have beautiful eye looks and I am trying to mimic some of your looks but I don’t have an extensive collection. I need to prioritize which palette to add next. Ps. Yeah, that's been my experience with Clionadh--if you order after a sale or a launch, they take about a month to ship and then however long shipping takes. I'm in the U.S.so once it shipped it was only about a week. I love their Instagram but have only bought from them once because the shipping is so long and there are so many lovely indie brands based in the U.S..

I love your rainbow look 👌. I 100% agree with you, the Clionadh eyeshadows are worth the wait and the price, I'm really impressed with mine. I've got a small cup on my dressing table that I tap my brush on before applying the mattes, I find I have less palette cleanup to do.

When my dreamweaver bundle arrived the light purple matte came a little crumbled but they're so soft and buttery that I was able to press it back into place with just my fingers!

I'm a bit perplexed at how different our experience of the JP shadow is. I love the yellow and find it goes on exactly like this one went on you and it lasts all day. I guess we have different textured lids maybe ... I would say it could be a batch thing but I've now got 7 JP palettes and they all perform equally well, which would be unlikely if they differed in quality batch to batch like that. I also love Subculture though. Horses for courses 8} I love this look on you. I love it when you break the colour out!

If you want SUPER intense shades, try the Modern Royalty palette by Pigment Palace. It is CRAZY colorful. I was stunned when I used it the first time.

I love this look and I love Clionadh! I got the Dreamweaver bundle too. I've also got a bunch of their duochromes from the Witchcraft/Alchemy set and a bunch from the 66.5 Degree North collection. I don't mind the powderiness at all because they do apply so beautifully on the eye. Ah, I want to go play with them now!

I ordered the dream weaver set after seeing it on Beauty News! It took like 6 weeks or more to get it. My second purchase came today; it only took a week. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I really love the shimmers, etc. however, I found my mattes to be slightly patchy at times so far. But overall, I’m really thrilled with my purchase, just wish they weren’t so fragile... I’m clutsy 🤭 (accidentally dropped my Anastasia riviera last week and all the shimmers shattered) 😭 but I really love these looks and can’t wait to play with my shadows more to make similarish looks 😍

Jennifer Sattler thanks so much for your support! Our TAT definitely increases if we have surges in orders like the one we received from the BN video. Typically it’s much shorter. If you’re having issues with any mattes, I suggest patting them where you want them and with a clean brush lightly buff out the edges. They can be over blended at times. I use TF shadow insurance as a primer and let it set completely on its own without setting it. Thanks again for your support! -Clionadh 💕 PS that’s devastating news about your ABH palette! 😫😫😫

I have a bunch of their shimmers, and they are great quality. They're all very icy however, which isn't ideal for my darker skin. The next time I order from them, I might stick to getting only darker colors.

amulya rao hey hun! Not sure which shades you purchased, but the newer collections were geared towards cooler, icy toned shades. Have you tried Devinah Cosmetics? I had a similar experience with them. I used one shadow, and when I blew off the excess powder from the top of the pan, a chunk of it flew right off O_O Mine has a dent too, so my guess is it will break completely within a few uses. I don't think I will buy Devinah again. Thanks for letting us know about Clionadh's formula. I'll stay away from the mattes. EDIT: The Clionadh metallics look a lot like JD Glow's Galaxy shadows. If you have any, I'd like to see a video side by side to compare. About your look, I think you can go out like that, since you ended up creating a rainbow. It looks pretty!

I have used Devinah highlighters but not eyeshadows. I do like this formula, you just need to be careful with it. Sadly I don’t own any JD glow galaxy so I can’t compare. 😊❤️

Stunning selection, I just placed my order! But I'm so annoyed about the endcards cutting off your swatches (particularly Iceberg, since I ordered that one!), and I can't figure out how to get the player to turn off the annotations (it won't actually remove the cards, even though I disable them in the video player), just FYI for future swatching videos!

So sorry about that. KZbin have changed the creator studio and it sometimes automatically puts end cards on in places where I wouldn't usually place them. I have removed them so you can easily see the swatches now xox
