its so hard to be in a realtionship (and even friendship) when interest wise you are more invested. it just feels like a waste of effort and i totally get that. i have been through sooooo many friends just hoping to find someone that isn't so self involved and actually also cares about me as a person, and i still have not found that. i think tv shows and movies sell us a huge lie of what our rosters will be like when we are in college and adulthood. just make sure that you are there for YOU. people come and go but you will always be there for yourself.

Being in your healing era is the hardest/loneliest phase. Once you start respecting yourself and setting boundaries everyone disappears. There was a time in my life where I had multiple people hitting me up throughout the day. Note I was miserable because I let other people determine my happiness. **Firstly I wanna point out I love your videos, they always make me giggle. Your personality is top tier. I relate a lot with you on similar life experiences with dating. Here is what I learned navigating my 20s in the dating pool as an attractive female who also has a goofy personality. A lot of men are going to say they want to date you, would ever be so lucky as to go out with a girl like you. A lot of men who are also not as attractive as you will slide in the DMs or in person encounters promising you the world. Luring you with “romantic gestures” at first to catch you with bait. Romantic gestures are genuine when they are consistent not sporadic. Those men are dating someone out of there league for status! The harsh truth is a man who is not as attractive will seek validation with status and ownership of material things and/or income. It gives them the illusion of power & self esteem. Take a moment to analyze your non-negotiables & how you expect to be treated by a partner. Once you have a clear view on what those are next time you date someone right off from the bat probe questions that won’t seem obvious but will give you an idea on that person’s initial response to things/ scenarios are. When you’re on a date with them see if they’re hesitant to pick up the check or is it instinct to just grab it like a true gentleman does. Your time is valuable don’t let loneliness ignore red flags. These are usually shown in the beginning and don’t be afraid to reject someone after only talk 2/3 days. Once you start saying NO and being selfish with your time it will eliminate time wasters, the pool will be smaller yes but it’s not about quantity it’s about quality. Hope this helps**

I get you so bad on this. Last dude I was with kept putting off progression in our relationship while promising it. It was always "I will" or "I want to" and I let myself get strung along and now am dealing with the inner turmoil of letting myself be lied to and made a spectacle of by a man. I'm also just an overly attentive person I pay attention to the people I care about, their likes and dislikes, etc... And realizing that he only liked me for my aesthetic attraction and didn't care to explore my substance as a person when I knew so much about him hurt me bad ngl. But recently I've been on a journey of self discovery and self love since then and know that I can't judge myself for the things I did to myself and put myself through when I was at my lowest, but instead I can use that as motivation to better myself so I don't end up in a situation like that again. But yeah thank you so much for these little talk videos this honestly helped me feel a lot less alone in my relationship struggles, and your videos in general have helped so much with motivation in my fitness and self wellness journey.
