One note to help DIYers is that you can buy wire nuts and use them more efficiently and faster, especially for later modification and/or additions and/or repair. If you need the water/moisture proofing protection then use a single layer or two of electrical tape, and use red electrical tape for positive wire connections, and use black electrical tape for negative wire connections.

You would have to buy tiny wire nuts. It’s about 18ga wire, braided.

@@ronkierstead I used a lot of gray-colored wire nuts for 2 or 3 wires (20 ga or smaller) , then used the blue-colored wire nuts for 4 to 5 wires (20 ga), and then the orange-colored wire nuts for larger wires (18ga and 16ga).
