Hello. I have a couple of questions regarding "packaging level definitions" 1.) If I'm selling a blue cup, would I select each? 2.) If I'm selling a 6 pack of cups, blue, orange, purple, green, yellow and black, in the same 6 pack, would the packaging level still be set to each? Gs1 has definitions on the site but it's a bit confusing as a new seller. I've also emailed your company with this question a couple of times but never received a reply.

@@GS1USvideos I figured it out afterwards, I just had to go ahead and purchase a barcode. That put me in the system, then I had to attempt to log in with my email and say I forgot password. A bit more confusing rather then just having a sign up button, but I figured it out.

Do i need to have a brand before creating a UPC, AMAZON did not accpet my UPC because i created it without a brand on the GS1 web.

Hello, I just bought 7 individual GTIN, I got the receipt invoice and license, however, the barcodes are not showing up in my data hub product page like before. Ive been waiting 5 hours for those GTIN to show up. Is there anyway to resolve this issue? or should I just simply wait. Thank You!

If I license a GS1 Company Prefix, How to generate GTIN in batches on the GS1 website?

Once you license and receive your GS1 US GTIN, please view the Create a Product and Generate a UPC-A Barcode (www.gs1us.org/resources/data-hub-help-center/create-a-product-and-generate-a-upc-a-barcode), and download the Product Create/Manage User Guide for instructions on editing product information in our GS1 US Data Hub tool. Please note that while you can change the Product Description and Brand Name for a product that has been set to the In Use status, this is commonly done to correct a typographical error. You cannot change the Product Description to reflect a new product, per the GTIN Management Standard: “Any new product requires the assignment of a GTIN.” Similarly, based on the impact of the Brand Name change on your trading partners, you may want to consider assigning a new GTIN, per the GTIN Management Standard: “A change to the primary brand that appears on the trade item, requires assignment of a new GTIN.” To help determine if a new GTIN is needed please refer to the GTIN Management Standard (www.gs1.org/1/gtinrules/en/) or explore the interactive Decision-Support Tool (www.gs1.org/1/gtinrules/en/decision-support). Hello, i read that GS1 US GTIN can’t make coupons, is it still the same if the coupon is applied on a online marketplace ? And does the GS1 US GTIN works for my product sold all over the world ? Thank you !

We do still have coupon standards: www.gs1us.org/upcs-barcodes-prefixes/additional-ways-to-identify-products/coupons And yes, GTINs are accepted all around the world but consult your retailer or marketplace guidelines to understand specifics.

New Gs1 customer like me need videos how to print barcodes. I bought barcodes and I stuck trying to figure out printing. Make your website customer friendly. Why do customers have keep finding printing videos while GS1 can make videos showing how to print. Website is not customer friendly

Just click on the UPC description after company name listed if your not computer literate and the option to print will show up 😅
